Alexander Volkanovski Net Worth 2026: Purses, Bonuses and the Farm
Alexander Volkanovski's net worth is estimated at $7M to $12M in 2026, built on about $17M in estimated UFC purses, two disclosed paydays and a $4.5M farm.
Alexander Volkanovski's net worth in 2026 is best estimated at $7 million to $12 million. Third-party guesses range from $3.5 million (Sportskeeda and Sportscasting) to $11 million (EssentiallySports, citing MMA Salaries), and the higher end fits better once you add two title fights against Diego Lopes, a $100,000 bonus and a new UFC contract to the pile. It is an estimate. The UFC does not publish pay, and only two of his purses have ever been disclosed by a commission.
Those two data points are worth more than every guess combined. Nevada disclosed $250,000 for his first title win over Max Holloway at UFC 245 in December 2019. California disclosed $750,000 guaranteed for the Ilia Topuria fight at UFC 298 in February 2024, before pay-per-view points. Everything else is a reported estimate, and I will label it that way.
The good news for Volk is that the money is still coming. He is 28-4, the two-time featherweight champion, and he defends against undefeated Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on October 24, 2026.

The Two Purses We Actually Know
Start with UFC 245. The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the full payroll, and Volkanovski took home a flat $250,000 to beat Holloway for the belt, with no win bonus listed. Holloway, the champion, made $350,000. That was the last time a Nevada commission report told us what a Volkanovski fight paid.
Four years and five title defenses later, California did what Nevada stopped doing. The CSAC report for UFC 298 in Anaheim listed Volkanovski at a $750,000 minimum guarantee, not including his pay-per-view share as the defending champion. Topuria, who knocked him out in the second round, was disclosed at $400,000 including a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Tripling your base in four years is what a title reign does.
The Estimated Paydays: Makhachev, Topuria and the Lopes Fights

For the fights in between, we lean on estimates that outlets like The Sports Daily, Sportskeeda and MMA Salaries build from prior contracts and drawing power. The Sports Daily pegged UFC 266 against Brian Ortega at about $492,000 including a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus and $42,000 in fight-week pay, and was upfront that "none of the following salary data for the event is official." Sportskeeda put his UFC 290 win over Yair Rodriguez at roughly $1.5 million once a $700,000 pay-per-view share is added, and the UFC 284 loss to Islam Makhachev in Perth at around $1.8 million.
The Makhachev rematch at UFC 294, taken on 11 days' notice, is estimated as his biggest single night at about $2.39 million according to Sportscasting and EssentiallySports, both citing MMA Salaries. Sportscasting added the career purses up to roughly $14.5 million as of April 2025. The two Lopes fights came after that: Khel Now estimated UFC 314 in Miami at close to $3 million with pay-per-view, and the UFC 325 rematch in Sydney at $1.6 million to $2.4 million, while noting the UFC has not confirmed any of it.
Bonuses and Compliance Pay
Volkanovski has five Fight of the Night bonuses (Mendes, Ortega, Makhachev in Perth, and both Lopes fights) plus a Performance of the Night for finishing Chan Sung Jung at UFC 273. Most were the standard $50,000. The UFC 325 rematch paid $100,000 apiece, per Sherdog, which Cageside Press noted was his fifth Fight of the Night of his UFC run. That is around $400,000 in bonus money that commissions never see.
Then there is the Venum-era Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay, which the UFC does disclose. Champions get $42,000 per fight and challengers $32,000, so he collected $32,000 for UFC 314 and $42,000 for UFC 325. Fighters also get 20 to 30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold with their likeness. UFC 325 was a big night for that: Variety reported a $14.4 million gate, the highest for an indoor arena event in Australian history.
The New UFC Contract

Volk has told us about his deals twice without giving a number. At the UFC 276 press conference in July 2022 he said: "We signed a new deal. I am very happy with it. To be highest paid featherweight outside Conor (McGregor)." That deal carried him through the Makhachev fights, the Topuria loss and the Lopes title run.
In February 2026, MMA News reported he re-signed again after UFC 325. No terms were disclosed. He did say the decision to keep going depended on the Lopes rematch: "If I took a lot of damage, I might've retired." Khel Now's estimate that the new deal puts him on track for another seven-figure night against Evloev is a reasonable read, but it is a read, not a report.
Sponsorships: Prime, Sportsbet and the YouTube Kitchen

In June 2023 Logan Paul named Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya the first official Prime Hydration athletes. Sportsbet has used him for activations, including the "Volk's $100k Deli" stunt at the Caulfield Cup in October 2024. His site lists Engage and CMBT for apparel, Lotus Caravans, Freestyle MMA and South Coast Health Hub as partners, and Sportscasting adds Athletikan footwear, Blessed CBD and BaiMed, while admitting nobody outside the deals knows what they pay.
His YouTube channel, which Wikipedia lists at 731,000 subscribers, runs the "Cooking With Volk" series he launched in 2021. He told the Illawarra Mercury in May 2025 that he enjoys "the skits, cooking, and acting," and that side of his brand will matter more the closer he gets to retirement. Wollongong gave him the keys to the city that same month. "It means a lot, it's an honour," he said.
The $4.5 Million Farm in the Illawarra

The single biggest verified asset is the house. The Illawarra Mercury reported in June 2024 that he bought a roughly $4.5 million property in Calderwood, New South Wales: 50 acres, 12 bedrooms across several dwellings, a gym with views and a full bar. The same property last sold in 2002 for $410,000.
That purchase came a few months after the Topuria knockout, at a point when plenty of people thought he was done. Buying a farm with title money and then winning the belt back is a very Volk way to handle a rough year.
What's Next: Evloev at UFC 333

Volkanovski defends against Movsar Evloev (20-0) at UFC 333 on October 24, 2026 at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, with Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili's trilogy as the co-main. Forbes reported the main card in September. As champion he gets the $42,000 compliance check again, and a pay-per-view share on Paramount+ era terms that nobody outside the UFC understands yet.
His last outing was the UFC 325 decision over Lopes (49-46, 49-46, 50-45) in front of more than 18,000 in Sydney. "I wanted to take him out, I wanted to grab hold of him and put him down, but he was strong," he said afterward. He is tied with Jose Aldo for the most featherweight title wins in UFC history, and one more moves him clear.
Where the Estimate Lands

Add it up. Roughly $14.5 million in estimated UFC purses through the first Lopes fight, another $1.6 million to $2.4 million for the rematch, around $400,000 in bonuses, compliance pay and merchandise on top, and endorsement income that nobody has quantified. Call it $18 million to $20 million gross across the career. Australia's top tax rate takes a big bite, coaches and management take theirs, and $4.5 million is tied up in the farm.
That leaves a working estimate of $7 million to $12 million. The $3.5 million figure floating around is stale, dating to before the Lopes title run. The $11 million estimate is closer. And if the Evloev fight goes the way most people expect the pay-per-view numbers to go, the range moves up again before the year is out.
Volk is the best value proposition in the UFC and I mean that as a compliment and a complaint. Two disclosed purses in eight years, $250,000 and $750,000, for a guy who has been in the pound-for-pound top five since 2020. The estimates fill in the rest, but the gap between what he has made and what a Conor or a Canelo makes for one night says everything about the sport. What I respect is how he spent it. A farm in the Illawarra, a cooking channel, a new deal signed only after checking he was not taking damage. That is a man planning for the day the belt is gone. Evloev is the wrong kind of opponent for a 38-year-old, a wrestler who never gets tired, and I would not touch the champion at a short price. But I have been wrong about Volk being finished before, and so has everyone else.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK.
How much does Alexander Volkanovski make per fight?
The only disclosed figures are $250,000 from Nevada for UFC 245 in 2019 and a $750,000 guarantee from California for UFC 298 in 2024, before pay-per-view points. Estimates for his title fights since then run from $1.5 million to about $3 million per night once pay-per-view shares, the $42,000 champion compliance payment and $50,000 to $100,000 bonuses are included, but the UFC has never confirmed those totals.
What is Volkanovski's biggest payday?
By estimate, the short-notice rematch with Islam Makhachev at UFC 294 in October 2023, which Sportscasting and EssentiallySports (both citing MMA Salaries) put at roughly $2.39 million. Khel Now estimated the first Diego Lopes fight at UFC 314 could approach $3 million with pay-per-view. Neither number is official, and the true figure depends on undisclosed contract terms.
Does Volkanovski still hold the UFC featherweight title?
Yes. He won the vacant belt against Diego Lopes at UFC 314 in April 2025 after Ilia Topuria moved up to lightweight, then retained it by unanimous decision in the rematch at UFC 325 in Sydney on February 1, 2026. His next defense is against undefeated Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on October 24, 2026.
What sponsors does Alexander Volkanovski have?
He was one of Prime Hydration's first two sponsored athletes in June 2023, alongside Israel Adesanya. He has worked with Sportsbet on promotions in Australia, and his site lists Engage, CMBT, Lotus Caravans, Freestyle MMA and South Coast Health Hub as partners. His YouTube channel and Cooking With Volk series add media income. None of the deal values have been reported.
Where does Volkanovski live?
In Calderwood in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. The Illawarra Mercury reported in June 2024 that he bought a 50-acre property with 12 bedrooms across multiple dwellings, a gym and a bar for about $4.5 million. Wollongong presented him with the keys to the city in May 2025.
