Last updated September 25, 2026. FightBanter is an independent combat sports publication operated by Sentient Holdings. This page explains what we collect when you use fightbanter.com and what we do with it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which stories, fighter pages and features people read, how they find us and which devices they use. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, referring site and interactions like shares and link clicks. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We do not send names, email addresses or other information that identifies you to Google Analytics. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

First-party counters

We also count page views and share clicks ourselves. For that the site sets one anonymous cookie (fb_voter) containing a random id, so a reload is not counted as a new reader. It holds no personal information and is not shared with anyone.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address and the page you signed up from, and use it only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.

Advertising and partner links

Some pages carry ads or partner links, labeled as such. Ad partners may use cookies to measure and personalize ads under their own policies. When you click a partner link, we record the click so we can report it to the partner; the partner's own policy applies once you leave our site. See Partnerships and disclosures.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them. To ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, email domains@sentientholdings.com.

Children

FightBanter is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
