Anthony Joshua Net Worth 2026: Purses, Saudi Paydays and Business Deals

Anthony Joshua's net worth in 2026 is an estimated $200 million to $300 million, built on Saudi purses, a Jake Paul payday, ten Forbes list appearances and companies posting big profits.

Anthony Joshua's net worth in 2026 is best estimated at $200 million to $300 million. That is an estimate. The Sunday Times Rich List valued him at 240 million pounds in May 2026, Celebrity Net Worth says $250 million, and his own companies reported tens of millions in annual profit. Under all of it sit reported purses of $50 million for Francis Ngannou and somewhere between $40 million and $94 million for Jake Paul.

Joshua is the rare boxer whose finances leave a paper trail. His UK companies file accounts, Forbes has ranked him ten times, and the Saudi-era purses were reported in detail even when they were not officially confirmed. So the picture here is clearer than it is for most fighters, even though the biggest individual numbers are still reported rather than disclosed.

He is 30-4 with 27 knockouts after stopping Kristian Prenga in two rounds on July 25, 2026 in Jeddah, a fight in which he was dropped twice in the first round. Next is Tyson Fury at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 11, 2026, live on Netflix, a fight that was confirmed on September 24 and is reported to carry a 200 million pound combined purse.

The Klitschko and Ruiz Years

Joshua's first monster payday was the eleventh-round stoppage of Wladimir Klitschko in front of 90,000 at Wembley on April 29, 2017. JOE reported both men were guaranteed 15 million pounds apiece from a 20 million pound purse split 50-50 plus PPV and gate cuts. Sky Box Office sold 1.532 million buys at 20 pounds on the night, and the event generated an estimated 50 million pounds in total revenue.

The Andy Ruiz Jr. upset at Madison Square Garden on June 1, 2019, a seventh-round stoppage loss, still paid: reports put Joshua between 19.3 million pounds and $32 million, with UK PPV at 652,000 buys. The rematch in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia on December 7, 2019, which Joshua won on a wide unanimous decision, was the start of the Saudi era. Forbes, citing the Daily Star, reported Joshua would make upwards of $60 million. Saudi authorities reportedly paid a 30 million pound site fee, and Sky Box Office did 1.284 million buys on the night plus 291,000 more over the next two weeks.

Celebrity Net Worth lists the Ruiz rematch at $57.5 million, which would make it his biggest single payday until the Paul fight.

The Saudi Era: Usyk, Wallin and $50 Million for Ngannou

The first Oleksandr Usyk fight at Tottenham on September 25, 2021, a unanimous decision loss, paid a reported 10 million pound guarantee rising to around 15 million pounds with PPV on 1.232 million UK buys. The rematch in Jeddah on August 20, 2022, a split decision loss, is where the numbers get murky. Wikipedia says the Saudi Public Investment Fund put up a roughly $77 million purse for the fighters to split; Boardroom reported $75 million each. Sportbible later referred to Joshua's Usyk rematch purse as 16.3 million pounds. Treat all three with caution and know the true figure was somewhere in the tens of millions.

The rebuild fights were cheaper. Jermaine Franklin at the O2 in April 2023 was reported at around 10 million pounds, described as his smallest purse in five years. Otto Wallin on the Day of Reckoning card in Riyadh in December 2023 was reported by The Sun at around $9 million.

Then Francis Ngannou. Joshua knocked the former UFC champion down three times and out in the second round in Riyadh on March 8, 2024. Sports Business Journal reported a $50 million purse for Joshua and $20 million for Ngannou. The Daniel Dubois fight at Wembley on September 21, 2024, which Joshua lost by fifth-round knockout, had a reported 6 million pound base purse with total earnings projected at about 25 million pounds after a 60-40 revenue split.

The Jake Paul Payday

Joshua stepped in for Gervonta Davis and knocked Jake Paul out at 1:31 of the sixth round at the Kaseya Center in Miami on December 19, 2025, dropping him four times and breaking his jaw. Paul weighed 216.6 pounds, Joshua 243.4.

The purse reports ranged wildly. The Daily Mail put the combined purse at $184 million, implying about $92 million each. Ariel Helwani said he heard $40 million to $50 million apiece. Paul posted that the event would generate $267 million. Sportbible later described Joshua's Paul purse as 70 million pounds, his career high. When TMZ asked Joshua if it was his biggest payday, he said, "Unfortunately, it's not," which is either honesty or a good poker face.

Netflix reported an estimated average minute audience of 33 million viewers globally, top 10 in 91 countries and number one in 45. Whatever the real check was, it was the easiest big money Joshua ever made.

Forbes, Sportico and the Rich List

Forbes has ranked Joshua among the world's highest-paid athletes ten times. The 2018 list had him 25th at $39 million, split $32 million in purses and $7 million in endorsements. In 2019 he hit $55 million, tying Lewis Hamilton as the top-earning Briton. In 2020 he was 19th at $47 million. In 2023 he was 28th at $53 million, with $50 million from fighting and $3 million off the field. In 2024 he peaked at 16th with $83 million, roughly $75 million from four fights and $8 million from Under Armour, Beats and the rest.

He dropped off the 2025 Forbes top 50, where the cutoff was $53.6 million, because the Dubois loss was his only fight in the window. Sportico still had him 30th overall with $60 million on its list of 2024 earnings.

The Sunday Times Rich List published in May 2026 valued Joshua at 240 million pounds, ranked eighth among UK sports figures and ahead of Tyson Fury at 162 million pounds. For a fighter who has lost four of his last nine, that is a remarkable number, and it says a lot about what happens when you pay attention to the business side.

Sponsorships and the 258 Business

Joshua has been with Under Armour since 2015 and signed a long-term renewal in March 2024 with undisclosed terms. In June 2026 CAA Sports announced an exclusive commercial partnership with him and his 258 Group, listing a sponsor roster of Under Armour, British Airways, Audemars Piguet, Hugo Boss, Lucozade, Jaguar Land Rover, DAZN, EA Sports, Revolut, Meta and Beats by Dre. Companies House accounts to February 2023 showed 50.8 million pounds in career sponsorship income through his marketing company, and a 2018 report put the Jaguar deal alone at about $1 million a year.

The company filings are where his wealth becomes concrete. Sparta Promotions Ltd reported turnover of 41.5 million pounds and pre-tax profit of 35.7 million pounds for the year to March 2025, with 36.3 million pounds in cash and no dividends taken. 258 Marketing Ltd showed around 43 million pounds in pre-tax profit for the year to February 2024 with close to 30 million pounds in cash. A March 2026 Daily Mail report said his filings now list the United Arab Emirates as his country of residence.

He also holds a minority stake in the Alpine F1 team through a 2023 consortium, negotiated equity in DAZN as part of his 2018 Matchroom deal, and owns London property including a Bond Street mixed-use block valued above $33 million and a Hertfordshire estate valued near $40 million.

Fury in Cardiff: The Next Payday

The fight British boxing has waited a decade for was confirmed on September 24, 2026 by Turki Alalshikh: Fury vs. Joshua, Friday, December 11, 2026, Principality Stadium, Cardiff, live on Netflix worldwide and Sky Sports in the UK. It was originally pointed at Madison Square Garden before moving to Wales, with a 2 a.m. local start to suit US television. The press conference is set for London on September 30.

Sportbible reported the two will split a 200 million pound combined purse 50-50, excluding bonuses and endorsements, which would be roughly 100 million pounds each and the biggest payday of either man's career. That is a pre-fight report, not a disclosed figure. Fury is 36-2-1 with 25 knockouts after beating Mariusz Wach in Thailand the same weekend Joshua stopped Prenga.

Where the Estimate Lands

The third-party estimates cluster: Celebrity Net Worth at $250 million, the Sunday Times at 240 million pounds (about $320 million), Billionaires Africa at a more conservative $150 million. Celebrity Net Worth adds his ten biggest reported paydays to $275 million.

My math: Forbes-tracked earnings from 2017 through 2024 total roughly $400 million gross, before the Paul fight. Add a Paul purse in the $40 million to $90 million range and the Prenga fight. Even after UK taxes at the top rate for most of that period, management, training and Matchroom's cut, the audited cash sitting in his two main companies alone was more than 60 million pounds across recent filings, before real estate, the Alpine stake and the DAZN equity.

That puts a defensible band at $200 million to $300 million, with the Sunday Times figure at the top of it. And the number is about to move. If the Fury purse lands anywhere near the reported 100 million pounds, Joshua becomes the richest British boxer in history in one night, win or lose. Very few fighters have ever been paid this much to lose this often, and that is a compliment to his team, not a knock on him.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

Anthony Joshua is the best-run business in boxing, and I say that as someone who thinks he has been in decline since the first Usyk fight. Four losses in nine fights and his companies still bank 35 million pounds a year. That is Eddie Hearn, 258 and a fighter who understood early that the belts are marketing and the ledger is the scorecard. The Paul fight was a cash grab against a cruiserweight-sized YouTuber, and it paid better than the Klitschko night that made him. Now Fury. I think Fury wins if he shows up in shape, and the Prenga knockdowns tell you Joshua's chin is a live problem at 36. But 100 million pounds to fight a man who just struggled with Mariusz Wach? Take the money, AJ. Every time. The Cardiff crowd will not care who is faded, and neither will the bank.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK.

How much did Anthony Joshua make for the Jake Paul fight?

No official figure was released. The Daily Mail reported a combined purse of $184 million, roughly $92 million each, and Sportbible later put Joshua's share at 70 million pounds. Ariel Helwani said he heard $40 million to $50 million per fighter. Joshua told TMZ it was not his largest payday. The realistic range is $40 million to $94 million, which makes it either his biggest or second-biggest night behind the Ruiz rematch.

How much will Anthony Joshua earn against Tyson Fury?

Sportbible reported that Fury and Joshua will split a 200 million pound combined purse 50-50, excluding bonuses and endorsements, for their December 11, 2026 fight at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Netflix. That would be about 100 million pounds each, a career high for both. It is a pre-fight report and no purse has been officially disclosed. Fury's previous high was reported at 80 million pounds for the first Usyk fight.

What is Anthony Joshua's biggest purse ever?

Until December 2025, the Andy Ruiz Jr. rematch in Saudi Arabia on December 7, 2019 was reported as the biggest, with Forbes citing upwards of $60 million and Celebrity Net Worth listing $57.5 million. The Ngannou fight in March 2024 was reported at $50 million. The Jake Paul fight has been reported anywhere from $40 million to $94 million. The Fury fight is expected to top all of them.

Is Anthony Joshua richer than Tyson Fury?

According to the Sunday Times Rich List published in May 2026, yes. Joshua was valued at 240 million pounds and ranked eighth among UK sports figures, while Fury was valued at 162 million pounds and ranked ninth. Fury out-earned Joshua in 2024 per Sportico, with $147 million to Joshua's $60 million, but Joshua's longer run of Forbes appearances and his company profits give him the larger overall fortune.

What companies does Anthony Joshua own?

His main vehicles are Sparta Promotions Ltd, 258 Marketing Ltd and 258 Investments Ltd, grouped under his 258 Group management and investment company. Sparta Promotions reported 35.7 million pounds in pre-tax profit for the year to March 2025. He also holds a minority stake in the Alpine Formula 1 team through a 2023 consortium, reportedly negotiated equity in DAZN, and owns London commercial property on Bond Street and Dering Street.
