O'Shaquie "Ice Water" Foster arrived in San Antonio as the WBC super featherweight champion. He left as the unified king of 130 pounds. Foster outclassed Emanuel "Vaquero" Navarrete over 12 rounds at the Frost Bank Center on Saturday night, winning a unanimous decision by scores of 118-108, 118-108 and 115-111 to capture the WBO, IBF and vacant Ring Magazine titles on DAZN.

Foster controlled the action from the opening bell with timing, length and pinpoint counter punching. Leaping left hooks and sharp straight rights kept Navarrete on the outside for most of the night. The Mexican veteran found pockets of success in the third round with body work and again in the tenth with clean power shots, but Foster consistently beat him to the punch and made the pressure fighter look a step slow.

The 11th round provided the only real scare. Navarrete hurt Foster with a heavy shot near the ropes, and for a moment the Frost Bank Center held its breath. Foster answered in the 12th with two counter right hands that put Navarrete on the canvas. The former champion rose both times but had nothing left. The final round put an exclamation point on a performance that was already lopsided on all three scorecards.

Two judges saw Foster winning 10 rounds to two. The third had it 115-111 but never in doubt. Foster, who fights out of Houston, now holds three of the four major super featherweight belts. Only the WBA title, held by Lamont Roach Jr., stands between the 31-year-old and undisputed status at 130.

The win immediately drew attention from the sport's biggest names. Vasiliy Lomachenko appeared on the DAZN broadcast and confirmed he is coming out of retirement to fight at 130 in 2027, targeting the winner, per Bad Left Hook. WBO light welterweight champion Shakur Stevenson called Foster "a helluva fighter" on X and said the matchup "would get me out of bed," per Boxing News 24.

That was the most complete performance I have seen from O'Shaquie Foster, and it was not close. Two scorecards at 118-108. Navarrete came to fight the way he always does, walking forward, throwing heavy leather, looking for that one shot. Foster solved him inside four rounds and spent the rest of the night sharpening the lesson.

The 12th round was cold-blooded. Foster gets clipped in the 11th, the building thinks maybe Navarrete can steal it late, and then Ice Water does exactly what the nickname promises. Two knockdowns to close the show. That is a fighter who knows who he is.

The super featherweight picture just got very interesting. Lomachenko wants back in. Shakur is barking from 140. Roach has the WBA belt. Foster should go get that fourth title and become undisputed. The man was sleeping in his car five years ago. Saturday night in San Antonio, he owned the building.
