Jake Paul's professional boxing record is 12-2 with 7 knockouts as of October 2026. He has not fought since Anthony Joshua knocked him out in the sixth round in Miami on December 19, 2025, a loss that broke his jaw in two places and has kept him out of the ring for most of 2026.

His other defeat was a split decision to Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia in February 2023. Every other name on his ledger has gone down, including Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley (twice) and Ben Askren.

Here is the complete fight-by-fight record, who he beat, who beat him, what the fights paid where that information exists, and what his team says is coming next.

Paul turned pro in January 2020 after a 2018 white-collar exhibition against Deji Olatunji. The exhibition does not count on his pro record. The 14 professional fights do.

1. January 30, 2020: beat AnEsonGib by TKO, round 1 (2:18), Miami. 2. November 28, 2020: beat Nate Robinson by KO, round 2 (1:24), Los Angeles. 3. April 17, 2021: beat Ben Askren by TKO, round 1 (1:59), Atlanta. 4. August 29, 2021: beat Tyron Woodley by split decision over 8 rounds, Cleveland. 5. December 18, 2021: beat Tyron Woodley by KO, round 6 (2:12), Tampa. 6. October 29, 2022: beat Anderson Silva by unanimous decision over 8 rounds, Glendale, Arizona. 7. February 26, 2023: lost to Tommy Fury by split decision over 8 rounds, Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. 8. August 5, 2023: beat Nate Diaz by unanimous decision over 10 rounds, Dallas. 9. December 15, 2023: beat Andre August by KO, round 1 (2:32), Orlando. 10. March 2, 2024: beat Ryan Bourland by TKO, round 1 (2:37), San Juan, Puerto Rico. 11. July 20, 2024: beat Mike Perry by TKO, round 6 (1:12), Tampa. 12. November 15, 2024: beat Mike Tyson by unanimous decision over 8 rounds, Arlington, Texas. 13. June 28, 2025: beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by unanimous decision over 10 rounds, Anaheim. 14. December 19, 2025: lost to Anthony Joshua by KO, round 6 (1:31), Miami.

Who has Jake Paul beaten?

The honest breakdown of his 12 wins: one YouTuber (AnEsonGib), one former NBA player (Nate Robinson), five former MMA fighters (Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley twice, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry), two journeyman pro boxers (Andre August and Ryan Bourland), a 58-year-old Mike Tyson, and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Chavez Jr. is the only former world champion boxer he has beaten who was not drawing a pension. Paul won that one clearly on cards of 99-91, 97-93 and 98-92 at the Honda Center on DAZN, and it moved him to 12-1. Chavez was 39 and had not held a major title since 2012, but he was still a real fighter with a 54-7-1 record coming in.

The Woodley rematch knockout in Tampa and the sixth-round stoppage of Mike Perry are the two finishes that looked like legitimate boxing rather than mismatches.

Who has beaten Jake Paul?

Two men. Tommy Fury took a split decision at the Diriyah Arena on February 26, 2023, with scores of 76-73, 76-73 and 75-74 Paul. Paul scored a knockdown late but Fury outworked him, throwing 302 punches to Paul's 157. The fight had already fallen through twice, in December 2021 and August 2022, before it finally happened.

Anthony Joshua did far worse to him. The former two-time heavyweight champion dropped Paul four times, twice in the fifth and twice in the sixth, before the referee waved it off at 1:31 of round six. All three judges had Joshua up 50-43 at the time of the stoppage.

The Mike Tyson fight

The Tyson fight on November 15, 2024 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington was a sanctioned pro bout under modified rules: eight two-minute rounds with 14-ounce gloves. Tyson was 58 years and four months old. Paul was 27.

Paul won every card, 79-73, 80-72 and 79-73, in a fight that had very little action after the second round. The live gate was a Texas record $17.8 million, beating the Canelo Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders mark at the same stadium, and Netflix reported it as the most-streamed sporting event ever at the time, with 65 million concurrent streams at its peak.

The Anthony Joshua fight and the broken jaw

Paul weighed 216.6 pounds and Joshua weighed 243.4 at the weigh-in for the December 19, 2025 fight at the Kaseya Center. It was eight three-minute rounds with 10-ounce gloves in a 22-foot ring, and it streamed on Netflix, which reported 33 million global viewers.

Paul was competitive for a few rounds and then the size difference did what everyone expected. After the fight he said: "I'm going to heal the broken jaw, come back and fight people my weight, come back and fight for the cruiserweight title." Joshua's own verdict: "It wasn't the best performance." Paul's jaw was fractured in two places. He had surgery on December 20 with titanium plates, lost teeth, and needed a second surgery in February 2026.

Jake Paul's biggest purses

Most of Paul's purses are not public. Texas, Florida and California do not release fighter pay the way Nevada used to, so what follows needs labels.

Disclosed: the first Woodley fight in Cleveland. The Ohio State Athletic Commission listed $2 million each for Paul and Woodley, per Sherdog, not counting pay-per-view upside or sponsors.

Reported: Tyson. Paul said at the pre-fight press conference, "I'm here to make $40 million and knock out a legend." CBS Sports reported roughly $40 million for Paul and $20 million for Tyson, with the caveat that neither MVP nor the Texas commission confirmed the figures.

Reported, unconfirmed: Joshua. The Daily Mail reported a combined $184 million purse before the fight was announced, and Paul then posted "$267 Million" on X. Neither number has been confirmed by the fighters or by Netflix.

The Gervonta Davis fight that never happened

Before Joshua, Paul was booked for a Netflix exhibition against lightweight champion Gervonta Davis on November 14, 2025 in Miami, a matchup with roughly 50 pounds between the two men. MVP cancelled it on November 4 after a civil lawsuit was filed against Davis in Miami-Dade County. Those are allegations in a civil filing, nothing more. MVP said Paul would still headline a Netflix card before the end of the year, and six weeks later that card was Joshua.

Is Jake Paul a real boxer, and is he ranked?

He is a licensed professional with 14 sanctioned fights, so yes, he is a real boxer by definition. The ranking question is thinner. The WBA placed him at No. 15 at cruiserweight after the Chavez win, which was the first time any major sanctioning body ranked him. He went into the Joshua fight holding that spot and lost it in January 2026 while sidelined with the jaw injury. As of today he holds no ranking with any of the four major bodies.

He has never fought a ranked, active cruiserweight contender, which is the gap Chavez Jr. pointed at after their fight: "I don't think he's ready for champions."

What is next for Jake Paul?

Nothing is signed as of October 5, 2026. The timeline from his own camp has moved all year. In March, Paul told ESPN he would be back "late this year or early next year" and that he would return at cruiserweight, not heavyweight. In May, MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian told Bleacher Report that Paul would fight before the end of 2026 and try MMA "at some point in 2027 or 2028."

In August, Bidarian told Sky Sports the target was "the end of this year or January" and that a Tommy Fury rematch "is the fight that makes the most sense," with money and "the reality of the economics" the obstacles. As of a September 11 report, Paul had been cleared to spar in mid-September, Fury was the expected but unconfirmed opponent, and Paul said he wants an MMA fight "in the next 12 months or so."

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

The thing people get wrong about Jake Paul is thinking he is either a fraud or a contender. He is neither. He is a 12-2 pro who built his record on retired MMA fighters and a 58-year-old Mike Tyson, then took the one real risk of his career against Joshua and got his jaw broken in two places. Credit for taking it. No credit for pretending it was close. The Chavez Jr. win is the only one on the list that would make a boxing person nod, and even that was a 39-year-old who had not been a champion in 13 years. The Fury rematch is the right fight because Fury is the only man his size who beat him. If he wins it, fine, he is a real cruiserweight prospect at 29. If he skips it for another sideshow, we have our answer.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK.

How many knockouts does Jake Paul have?

Seven of his 12 wins came by stoppage: AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson, Ben Askren, Andre August and Ryan Bourland inside two rounds, plus sixth-round stoppages of Tyron Woodley in their rematch and Mike Perry. His five decision wins were over Woodley, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

What weight does Jake Paul fight at?

Cruiserweight, which is a 200-pound limit. He fought Chavez Jr. at cruiserweight and held a WBA No. 15 ranking there. He went up to heavyweight for Joshua, weighing 216.6 pounds against Joshua's 243.4, and has said he will return at cruiserweight because punches from men his own size hurt less.

Did Jake Paul really break his jaw against Anthony Joshua?

Yes. His jaw was fractured in two places. He had surgery the next day, December 20, 2025, with titanium plates, lost teeth and was on a liquid diet for at least a week. He needed a second surgery in February 2026 and was told it would be four to six months before he could even spar, which pushed his return to late 2026 at the earliest.

Was the Mike Tyson fight a real professional fight?

It was sanctioned as a professional bout by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, so it counts on both records. The rules were modified: eight rounds of two minutes each with 14-ounce gloves instead of three-minute rounds and 10-ounce gloves. Paul won a unanimous decision with scores of 79-73, 80-72 and 79-73.

Who is Jake Paul fighting next?

No opponent is signed as of October 2026. MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian has said a Tommy Fury rematch is the fight that makes the most sense and that the target date is the end of 2026 or January 2027. Paul was cleared to spar in mid-September and also says he wants an MMA fight within about a year.
