Joseph Parker Returns Against Frazer Clarke on Fury vs Joshua Undercard
Parker comes back from a year-long layoff and a failed drug test to face Clarke on the December 11 megafight card in Cardiff.

Joseph Parker will make his ring return against Frazer Clarke on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on December 11 in Cardiff, Wales. Clarke confirmed to The Sun that he has agreed to the bout, though organizers have not officially announced it.
Parker has been inactive since October 2025, when Fabio Wardley stopped him. Before that loss, the former WBO heavyweight champion had rebuilt his stock with strong performances against Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang. His layoff was extended after he received a backdated three-month suspension following a failed test for a cocaine metabolite. UK Anti-Doping later cleared him to compete.
Clarke, who ended a two-fight losing skid with a stoppage of Lamah Griggs in August, has an extensive amateur pedigree. The two have history: Parker beat Clarke in the amateurs back in 2010 in India, and Clarke told The Sun he wants revenge for that loss.
The stakes are clear for both men. Parker needs to prove the Wardley stoppage and the long layoff haven't taken the best of what he has left. At his peak, Parker was a world champion who pushed Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua to close decisions. Another loss here, especially to Clarke, could close his path back to a world title shot for good.
For Clarke, this is the biggest name on his resume. A win over a former world champion on a Fury-Joshua undercard could launch him into the heavyweight conversation.
Parker's career is at a crossroads, and he's picked the right kind of fight to figure out which way it goes. Clarke is dangerous enough to test whether Parker still has it but not so elite that a loss ends the world. The Wardley stoppage was ugly, the cocaine suspension was messy, and a year on the shelf at heavyweight is a long time.
I like the amateur revenge angle for Clarke. He's been waiting 16 years for this. But Parker at his best is levels above, and the Fury-Joshua crowd in Cardiff will give this fight an electric atmosphere. If Parker looks sharp, the top ten is still in play. If he doesn't, it's time to start thinking about the exit.
