Manny Pacquiao Net Worth 2026: Purses, PPV Money and the Mayweather Rematch
Manny Pacquiao's net worth is an estimated $70 million to $150 million in 2026, built on more than $500 million in career earnings that he has spent as fast as he made it.

Manny Pacquiao's net worth in 2026 is an estimate, and the best honest range is $70 million to $150 million. His career earnings are far bigger than that: Forbes counted $435 million in prize money and endorsements for the 2010s alone, and that was before the $12 million comeback purse against Mario Barrios in 2025. The gap between what he earned and what he kept is the whole story.
Pacquiao is the only eight-division champion in history, a former senator, a Hall of Famer as of June 2025, and at 47 he is still signing fight contracts. He is also famous for giving money away, for carrying an entourage the size of a small town, and for a political career that cost him more than it paid. So the number at the top of this page is a range, and the components below are the parts that were actually disclosed or reported by people who would know.
We do not copy third-party "celebrity net worth" figures here. What follows is built from commission numbers, ESPN and Forbes reporting, Philippine disclosure filings and the promoters on record.

The disclosed purses

The hard numbers start with Keith Thurman. For the July 20, 2019 fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Pacquiao's guaranteed purse was $10 million, per ESPN, against $2.5 million for Thurman. Pacquiao won a split decision (115-112, 115-112, 113-114), dropped Thurman in the first round and, at 40, became the oldest welterweight to win a major world title. The fight did roughly 500,000 pay-per-view buys in the United States, worth an estimated $37.5 million, and Pacquiao had a piece of that on top of the guarantee.
Two years later the money was smaller and the result was worse. Pacquiao's guarantee for Yordenis Ugas in August 2021 was reported at $5 million plus a share of pay-per-view revenue. Ugas won a unanimous decision, 115-113, 116-112 and 116-112, and kept the WBA welterweight belt. That was the fight that sent Pacquiao into what looked like retirement with a 62-8-2 record.
Before Thurman, the money ran much higher, and the figure that matters most is the one from May 2015. That one deserves its own section.
The Mayweather fight: the biggest check in boxing

Mayweather vs Pacquiao on May 2, 2015 is still the richest fight ever staged. The Nevada State Athletic Commission reported a live gate of $72,198,500 from 16,219 tickets at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, a state record that still stands. Showtime and HBO said the fight sold more than 4.4 million U.S. pay-per-view buys and more than $400 million in pay-per-view revenue, with total revenue past $600 million.
The split was 60-40 in Mayweather's favor. Mayweather's disclosed purse with the commission was $100 million. ESPN's Dan Rafael projected Mayweather would end up around $250 million and Pacquiao more than $120 million once the pay-per-view and gate money was counted. Pacquiao lost a unanimous decision, but the money cleared either way.
Forbes put it in context the following month. For the 12 months ending June 1, 2015, Pacquiao earned $160 million, second in the world behind Mayweather's record $300 million. The next athlete on the list, Cristiano Ronaldo, was at $79.6 million. One fight, one night, more than half a Ronaldo year.
PPV points and the $435 million decade

Pacquiao never fought for a flat fee in his prime. His deals with Top Rank and later Premier Boxing Champions paid him a guarantee plus a share of pay-per-view revenue, and that upside is where most of his fortune came from. Forbes tallied 25 pay-per-view fights that generated about 20 million buys and an estimated $1.3 billion in revenue.
When Forbes closed the books on the 2010s, Pacquiao ranked eighth among the highest-paid athletes of the decade at $435 million. Mayweather topped the list at $915 million, and more than $500 million of that came from two nights: Pacquiao in 2015 and Conor McGregor in 2017. Pacquiao's decade number is the single best figure anyone has for his earnings, and it leaves out everything before 2010, which includes the De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto paydays.
Add it up conservatively and Pacquiao's gross boxing earnings are comfortably past $500 million. That is not his net worth. It is the top of the funnel.
The 2025 comeback and the Barrios purse

Pacquiao's comeback was announced on May 15, 2025, hours after he conceded his Senate race. He had finished 18th in the Philippine midterms, with only the top 12 winning seats. His team tied the return to his June induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, and the opponent was Mario Barrios, the WBC welterweight champion.
The fight happened July 19, 2025 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Pacquiao was 46 years and 7 months old. It ended in a majority draw: Tim Cheatham and Steve Weisfeld had it 114-114, Max DeLuca had Barrios 115-113. Barrios kept the belt and Pacquiao's record moved to 62-8-3.
The pay was real. The New York Times reported before the fight that Pacquiao would get $12.5 million, and the listed purse was $12 million. Barrios was guaranteed $1 million, the biggest purse of his career, with reports of up to $2.5 million more tied to pay-per-view performance. Spin.ph's own estimate had Pacquiao's total haul, with pay-per-view and other income, above $17 million. The official buy figure was never released.
Sponsorships, politics and what the Senate filing showed

The most useful number for Pacquiao's actual wealth is not from boxing. Philippine officials have to file a statement of assets, liabilities and net worth every year, and Pacquiao's 2018 filing as a senator declared a net worth of 3,005,808,000 pesos, up from about 2.9 billion the year before. At exchange rates of the time that was roughly $55 million to $60 million.
That filing is self-reported and it is now eight years old, but it is the closest thing to a verified floor that exists. It also explains the gap. Pacquiao had grossed hundreds of millions by 2018 and was declaring a net worth that would not cover one Mayweather fight. Taxes in two countries, a famously large entourage, charity on a scale no other athlete attempts, and expensive political campaigns all ate into it.
His business side is run through MP Promotions, which co-promoted the Barrios fight and holds his end of the Mayweather rematch deal. He has had endorsement and sponsor money throughout his career, but the figures were never broken out publicly in a way we can cite, so they are not in the estimate as a line item.
The Mayweather rematch and what is next

After Barrios, Pacquiao's advisers chased a January 2026 title shot at WBA champion Rolando Romero. Those talks collapsed, per Ring Magazine's Mike Coppinger, and the bigger target came into view: Floyd Mayweather, 50-0, in a real fight. Netflix announced the rematch on February 23, 2026, for September at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with MP Promotions and Mayweather Promotions co-promoting alongside CSI Sports.
Then it fell apart. In June 2026 CSI sued Mayweather in federal court in New York over his Tyson and Pacquiao deals, and on June 25 Pacquiao confirmed the rematch was postponed indefinitely. His camp cited "a volatile mix of federal lawsuits, scheduling overbooks, and financial gridlock completely surrounding the Mayweather camp" and said it was eyeing early 2027. Pacquiao's line: "I want Floyd to live with the one loss on his professional record and always remember who gave it to him."
As of mid-October 2026, Pacquiao is reportedly being lined up for the December 11 Fury vs Joshua card in Cardiff on Netflix, on the theory that the streamer owes him a fight. Nothing is signed. MP Promotions CEO Jas Mathur told Ring Magazine a fourth-quarter bout was likely but that "nobody is set, no opponent is set in stone yet."
Where the estimate lands

Start from the floor. The 2018 Senate filing put Pacquiao's net worth at roughly $57 million. Since then he has banked the Thurman guarantee and pay-per-view share, the Ugas purse, the Barrios purse and whatever upside came with it, which together add somewhere north of $30 million gross. He has also kept campaigning and kept giving.
That gets us to $70 million on the low end, which assumes the filing was accurate and the spending never slowed. The high end of $150 million assumes the filing understated assets held abroad or through businesses, which is a common criticism of those disclosures, and that the comeback money mostly stayed put. Anything higher than that requires taking a third-party estimate on faith, and we do not.
So: $70 million to $150 million, labeled an estimate, with more than $500 million in career earnings behind it. If the Mayweather rematch ever lands, the floor moves. Until then, this is the number.
Pacquiao is the one superstar whose net worth I would never bet on, in either direction. The earnings are real: Forbes counted $435 million in the 2010s alone, and that was before the Barrios check. But nobody in boxing history has handed money out like Manny, and the 2018 Senate filing at roughly $57 million tells you the gap between gross and net is a canyon. Here is what matters now: he is 47, he just made eight figures for a draw, and Netflix still owes him a fight. If the Mayweather rematch ever happens, that is another nine-figure event and he gets the 40 side of it again. If it does not, the Cardiff undercard slot in December is a seven or eight figure consolation prize. Either way the number goes up before it goes down. I just would not confuse career earnings with what is in the bank.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK.
How much did Manny Pacquiao make against Floyd Mayweather?
There is no single official number. The deal split revenue 60-40 in Mayweather's favor, and ESPN's Dan Rafael projected Pacquiao would clear more than $120 million once pay-per-view and gate money was counted. The fight sold more than 4.4 million U.S. pay-per-view buys and a Nevada-record $72.2 million gate. Forbes put Pacquiao's earnings for the 12 months through June 2015 at $160 million.
How much did Pacquiao get paid to fight Mario Barrios?
Reports put Pacquiao's purse at $12 million to $12.5 million for the July 19, 2025 fight at the MGM Grand, with the New York Times reporting the higher figure before the bout. Barrios was guaranteed $1 million, the biggest payday of his career. The fight ended in a majority draw, so Barrios kept the WBC welterweight title and Pacquiao, at 46, left with a draw on his record and a fresh eight-figure check.
Is the Mayweather vs Pacquiao rematch still happening?
Not in 2026. Netflix announced the rematch in February 2026 for September at the Sphere in Las Vegas, then Pacquiao confirmed in June that it was postponed indefinitely. His camp blamed lawsuits, overbooking and financial gridlock around Mayweather. Pacquiao's people are eyeing early 2027, and reports in October 2026 had him being lined up for the December 11 Fury vs Joshua Netflix card in Cardiff instead.
What was Manny Pacquiao's declared net worth as a senator?
Philippine officials have to file a statement of assets, liabilities and net worth. Pacquiao's 2018 filing declared a net worth of about 3.0 billion pesos, up from 2.9 billion the year before. At the exchange rates of the time that was roughly $55 million to $60 million. It is self-reported and it is several years old, but it is the closest thing to a verified floor that exists for any fighter of his stature.
Is Manny Pacquiao still a senator?
No. Pacquiao served one term in the Philippine Senate from 2016 to 2022. He tried to return to the Senate in the May 2025 midterms and finished 18th, outside the 12 winning seats. Hours after conceding, his team announced his boxing comeback, which lined up with his June 2025 induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
