Max Holloway Net Worth 2026: Purses, Bonuses and the McGregor Payday
Max Holloway's net worth is estimated at $8M to $12M in 2026, built on about $20M in estimated purses, $600K in UFC 300 bonuses and a reported $3M McGregor guarantee.
Max Holloway's net worth in 2026 is best estimated at $8 million to $12 million. Celebrity Net Worth lists $5 million and Sportscasting said about $6 million in mid-2025, but both came before the two biggest paydays of his career: the BMF defense against Charles Oliveira in March and the Conor McGregor rematch in July, which was reported to guarantee him around $3 million before pay-per-view. It is an estimate. The UFC does not publish pay, and Holloway has had exactly two purses disclosed by a commission in 14 years.
Those two are the anchors. Georgia disclosed $350,000 for the Dustin Poirier rematch at UFC 236 in April 2019. Nevada disclosed $350,000 flat for the first Alexander Volkanovski fight at UFC 245 that December. Everything after that is an estimate from outlets that build numbers off old contracts, plus the compliance pay and bonuses the UFC does announce.
Holloway is 28-9, no longer the BMF champion after losing to Oliveira, and coming off a first-round win over McGregor in his welterweight debut on July 11, 2026. No next fight is booked.

UFC 300: The $600,000 Bonus Night
The night that changed his money was April 13, 2024. Two days before UFC 300, Dana White raised the post-fight bonuses from $50,000 to $300,000. "$300,000, it's done!" White said. Holloway's response: "It's gonna be violent; now that there's 300K on the line, it's gonna be even more violent." He then pointed to the ground with ten seconds left and knocked Justin Gaethje out at the buzzer.
That earned him both Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night, $600,000 in bonuses on top of his purse, per Sherdog. Sportskeeda's pre-fight estimate had his total at about $2.13 million, with the outlet noting that the UFC had not disclosed the payouts. The BMF belt he won that night became his calling card for the next two years.
The Disclosed Purses: Georgia and Nevada
At UFC 236 in Atlanta, the Georgia commission listed Holloway at $350,000 for his interim lightweight title loss to Poirier, who made $250,000. Sherdog's report carried the standard caveat: those figures do not include any performance-based or discretionary bonuses from the promotion.
Eight months later at UFC 245 in Las Vegas, Nevada disclosed $350,000 with no win bonus for the fight he lost to Volkanovski, who was paid $250,000. The Edmonton card in between, UFC 240 against Frankie Edgar, was reported by a secondary site at $390,000 including $40,000 in fight-week pay, but Alberta does not publish official figures. Those three numbers are the whole paper trail for a guy who has headlined for a decade.
The Estimated Paydays: Topuria, Poirier and Oliveira

From 2020 on, Abu Dhabi, Nevada and Louisiana kept the numbers private, so we are left with estimates. Sportscasting's table has the Volkanovski rematch in Abu Dhabi at $380,000, the trilogy at $532,000 and the Korean Zombie fight in Singapore at $970,000. Those are guesses stacked on guesses, and they read low.
The recent estimates are bigger. BetMGM's estimated total payouts had Holloway at $2.43 million for the UFC 308 title loss to Ilia Topuria in Abu Dhabi in October 2024, $1.54 million for the UFC 318 BMF defense against Poirier in New Orleans in July 2025, and $1.54 million for the UFC 326 loss to Oliveira at T-Mobile Arena on March 7, 2026. The Poirier fight came with a hand injury that kept him out the rest of 2025. Sportscasting added his career UFC purses to more than $12.5 million as of July 2025, before the Oliveira and McGregor fights.
The McGregor Payday

Holloway said before UFC 329 that the McGregor rematch would be the highest payday of his UFC career, per Bloody Elbow. Khel Now reported he was guaranteed around $3 million for the welterweight debut, against a reported $15 million base for McGregor. BetMGM's estimate ran to $5.6 million for Holloway once pay-per-view is included. That spread tells you how little anyone knows, but even the floor doubles his previous best.
The fight lasted 69 seconds. McGregor's right knee gave out and referee Mike Beltran stopped it at 1:09 of the first round, with doctors suspecting a torn ACL, per CBS Sports. Holloway got the win, the check and a $21,000 compliance payment, but no bonus. Every UFC 329 bonus went elsewhere: Paddy Pimblett and King Green for performances, Brandon Royval and Kavanagh for Fight of the Night.
Bonuses and Compliance Pay

Holloway has made a career out of bonus money. UFC 231 against Brian Ortega in December 2018 paid both Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night, $100,000 total, plus a $40,000 Reebok payout as champion. The Korean Zombie knockout in Singapore in August 2023 added $50,000 for Fight of the Night, a performance he dedicated to Lahaina after the Maui fires. Then came the $600,000 at UFC 300.
The compliance pay is the one number the UFC reliably discloses. Holloway collected $32,000 for UFC 300 and UFC 308 as a challenger, $42,000 for UFC 318 and UFC 326 as BMF champion, and $21,000 for UFC 329 as a non-champion with more than 21 fights. It is pocket money next to a purse, but it is the only pay data with a paper trail since 2019.
Sponsorships, Merch and the Foundation

Venum sells a Max Holloway signature collection. Sportscasting listed deals with Stake, Darc Sport, Transparent Labs and Instant Hydration, and Sportskeeda noted past work with Reebok, Budweiser, Manscaped and Facebook Gaming. His online store launched in July 2021. None of the deal values have been reported, and a YouTube-based tracker that estimates his channel income at $65,000 to $145,000 a year labels itself as estimates, not actuals.
The money going out is easier to document. In February 2024 he and the UFC opened the first UFC-branded youth fitness center at the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii in Waianae, seeded by his $60,000 donation. He launched the Max Holloway Foundation in 2025 to support arts, education, fitness and mental health programs for young people across Hawaii. He won the UFC's Forrest Griffin Community Award in 2021.
What's Next for Blessed

After the Oliveira loss he told BJPenn.com: "I'm going to come back, whoop somebody's ass and be right in title contention again." The McGregor win did not settle much, and by late July he had named two options: a McGregor trilogy or a shot at Justin Gaethje's lightweight belt. ESPN made the case for Paddy Pimblett instead. As of publication, nothing is booked.
Whatever comes next, his rate has reset. A McGregor trilogy would be another seven-figure guarantee, and a title fight against Gaethje would carry the champion-level pay-per-view points he has never had at lightweight.
Where the Estimate Lands

Add it up. More than $12.5 million in estimated career purses through July 2025, roughly $1.5 million for the Oliveira fight, $3 million to $5.6 million for McGregor, at least $750,000 in announced bonuses, compliance pay and merchandise on top, and endorsement income nobody has measured. Call it $19 million to $22 million gross across 14 years. Federal and Hawaii taxes take close to half, a coaching team and management take theirs, and he gives a meaningful chunk away.
That is why $8 million to $12 million is the honest range. The $5 million figure from Celebrity Net Worth predates the McGregor money and treats his purses as if the 2019 commission numbers were still his rate. They are not. One more fight at the McGregor rate, and the range moves again.
Max Holloway is the most underpaid great fighter of his generation, and I will die on that hill. Two disclosed purses, both $350,000, for a man who has been in more Fight of the Night wars than anyone alive. The UFC 300 bonus was the sport admitting what it owed him, and the McGregor fight finally paid him like a draw, even if it lasted 69 seconds and Conor's knee did the work. What I like about his money is what he does with it: a youth gym in Waianae, a foundation, no leased Lamborghinis in the driveway. The next move matters. A Gaethje title fight is the right one for his legacy and the wrong one for his health, and I would not bet him against a fresh Gaethje at anything shorter than plus money. A McGregor trilogy is the easy check. Knowing Max, he takes the hard one.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK.
How much did Max Holloway make for the Conor McGregor fight?
Khel Now reported a guarantee of around $3 million for the UFC 329 rematch on July 11, 2026, while BetMGM estimated a total of about $5.6 million with pay-per-view. Neither figure is official. He also received $21,000 in disclosed compliance pay. McGregor was reported at a $15 million base. The fight ended at 1:09 of round one when McGregor's knee gave out.
What is Max Holloway's biggest payday?
By every estimate, the McGregor rematch, which Holloway himself said before the fight would be his highest UFC payday. Before that, the Ilia Topuria title fight at UFC 308 in October 2024 was estimated by BetMGM at around $2.4 million, and the UFC 300 win over Justin Gaethje was estimated at about $2.1 million plus $600,000 in bonuses.
Is Max Holloway still the BMF champion?
No. He won the BMF title by knocking out Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 in April 2024 and defended it against Dustin Poirier at UFC 318 in July 2025, but lost it to Charles Oliveira by unanimous decision at UFC 326 on March 7, 2026. He then moved up to welterweight for the McGregor rematch and won by first-round TKO.
How much has Max Holloway earned in the UFC?
Sportscasting estimated more than $12.5 million in career purses as of July 2025. Add the estimated $1.5 million for the Oliveira fight and $3 million to $5.6 million for McGregor, plus at least $750,000 in announced bonuses and disclosed compliance pay, and the total lands around $19 million to $22 million. Only two of those purses were ever disclosed by a commission.
What does Max Holloway do outside the cage?
He runs the Max Holloway Foundation, launched in 2025 to support arts, education, fitness and mental health programs for young people in Hawaii, and he funded the first UFC-branded youth fitness center at the Boys & Girls Club in Waianae with a $60,000 donation. He sells a Venum signature line and merchandise through his own store, and has sponsorship deals with Stake, Darc Sport and Transparent Labs.
