Maycee Barber Returns Against Carli Judice at UFC 335 in Las Vegas
Barber fights for the first time since her brutal knockout loss to Alexa Grasso at UFC Seattle.

Maycee Barber is coming back. "The Future" has been booked against Carli Judice at UFC 335 on Dec. 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, marking her first fight since one of the most devastating knockout losses in recent UFC history.
Barber was stopped by Alexa Grasso at UFC Seattle in a sequence that left her unconscious on the canvas for an extended period. She appeared to be knocked out and choked simultaneously before the referee intervened. Medical staff attended to her in the octagon, and she was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
"I will be back," Barber said after the loss. "I'm going to heal up and put in the work and get back out there."
She enters the Judice fight having won seven straight before the Grasso stoppage, including finishes of Katlyn Cerminara and Jessica Eye. At 27, she remains one of the youngest contenders in the women's flyweight division.
Judice, 7-2 and fighting under the nickname "Juicy," is one of the division's hottest prospects. She earned her UFC contract despite losing her Contender Series bout, then dropped a split decision in her debut. Since then she's been a wrecking ball: three performance bonuses in four fights, including knockouts and body-shot finishes of Yuneisy Duben, Nicolle Caliari, and Jeisla Chaves.
The matchup pits a proven contender looking to rebuild against a rising finisher who's been collecting bonus checks. Las Vegas on Dec. 12 is the stage.
This is a smart fight for both women, but a dangerous one for Barber. Judice finishes people. Three performance bonuses in four fights tells you she's not out there trying to win rounds. She's hunting.
Barber needs to prove she can take a shot again after what happened in Seattle. That kind of knockout changes a fighter. You either come back sharper and more disciplined, or you come back gun-shy. There's no middle ground. And the UFC isn't easing her back in with a soft matchup. Judice is legit.
I think Barber wins this if she fights smart and uses her experience. She's been in there with better competition and she knows how to impose her game. But if she gets into a firefight with Judice, all bets are off. T-Mobile Arena on a UFC 335 card is the right setting. Vegas loves a comeback story.
