Arman Tsarukyan made the shortest possible statement against Dillon Danis on Friday night, running through the social media personality with a 10-0 technical fall in just 1:19 of Round 1 at RAF 14 inside BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

The result surprised nobody. Tsarukyan, one of the best lightweights in MMA with a 24-3 record, was a massive favorite heading into the middleweight crossover title bout. Danis entered at 2-0 in RAF competition but had never faced anyone close to Tsarukyan's level.

Tsarukyan opened the match with a slap, then quickly went to work on the mat, piling up points until the referee waved it off via technical fall. He then stood over Danis and stepped on his chest, per MMA Mania, punctuating the finish with the kind of disrespect Danis had been dishing out during fight week.

The two had already made headlines earlier in the week when Tsarukyan rushed Danis at the RAF 14 press conference, sparking a brawl that required security to intervene. Friday's match was the payoff, and it was one-sided from the opening whistle.

Tsarukyan now adds another RAF wrestling win to his resume as he continues to compete across combat sports. His attention will likely turn back to the UFC lightweight division, where he has been promised a title shot, per his own account.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

I watched this from a couple miles away at home and honestly, the fight itself was the least interesting part of the whole week. The press conference brawl was more competitive than the actual match. Tsarukyan is a top-five lightweight in the world. Danis is a guy who built a career on talking. What did anyone think was going to happen?

But the stepping on the chest afterward? That's the clip. That's why RAF books these crossover fights. Tsarukyan got paid, got his moment, and reminded everyone he's a problem on any surface. Now get him back in the Octagon. The lightweight division needs him more than the wrestling mat does.
