Tyson Fury Net Worth 2026: Purses, Netflix Money and the Joshua Payday

Tyson Fury's net worth is estimated at $150 million to $250 million in 2026, built on reported nine-figure Usyk purses and a Netflix-funded comeback.

Tyson Fury's net worth in 2026 is best estimated at $150 million to $250 million. Reported purses across the Wilder trilogy, the Whyte purse bid, the Ngannou and Usyk fights in Riyadh and his 2026 Netflix comeback add up to well over $350 million gross before tax, and Celebrity Net Worth's third-party estimate sits at $200 million.

The honest caveat up front: only a handful of Fury's purses are official. Nevada and California published base figures for the Wilder fights, and the WBC purse bid for Dillian Whyte is on the record. Everything from Saudi Arabia, and the Netflix money for his April 2026 return, comes from media reports or from Fury's own mouth, and he is not a man who undersells.

What follows is every significant reported payday, who reported it, the endorsement and TV side, and where a grounded estimate lands for the 36-2-1 former unified and WBC heavyweight champion, who fights Anthony Joshua in Cardiff on December 11, 2026.

The Wilder Trilogy: Commission Numbers vs Real Money

The California State Athletic Commission listed base purses of $3 million for Fury and $4 million for Deontay Wilder for their December 1, 2018 split draw at Staples Center. With pay-per-view participation on roughly a million buys, Bleacher Report put Fury's total at about $10.25 million against $14 million for Wilder.

The rematch on February 22, 2020 at the MGM Grand, where Fury stopped Wilder in seven, carried Nevada-disclosed purses of $5 million each. ESPN reported at the time that both men were expected to clear more than $25 million once their PPV points were counted on an estimated 1.2 million buys. The October 9, 2021 trilogy at T-Mobile Arena, Fury's 11th round knockout, showed $6 million for Fury and $4 million for Wilder on the Nevada sheet, with The Sun reporting a 60-40 split of a pot worth at least $25 million each.

The lesson from these three fights applies to everything below. A disclosed purse is a floor, not a payday. Fury's real income from the trilogy was in the $60 million to $75 million range on the reporting, not the $14 million the commissions printed.

Whyte and Chisora: The Record Purse Bid

The Dillian Whyte fight is the cleanest number of Fury's career. When talks stalled, the WBC ordered a purse bid, and Frank Warren's Queensberry, alongside Top Rank, won it with a record $41,025,000 offer, as BoxingScene reported. The WBC-mandated 80-20 split gave Fury a guaranteed $32,820,000 and Whyte $8,205,000. Fury stopped Whyte in the sixth round in front of 94,000 at Wembley on April 23, 2022, then announced his retirement that August. It lasted a few months.

The December 3, 2022 trilogy with Derek Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a 10th round stoppage, was reported by Boxing Social, citing Sports Zion, at $25 million guaranteed for Fury with an 80-20 PPV split that could push him past $35 million, against about $3.8 million for Chisora. That is a media figure, not a board figure.

Ngannou and the Saudi Money

The October 28, 2023 crossover fight with Francis Ngannou at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh was supposed to be an exhibition-grade payday. Instead Fury got dropped in the third round and squeaked out a split decision. The Independent estimated $50 million for Fury and $10 million for Ngannou before PPV, and Fury himself told SportBible a few weeks later that he made "nearly £50 million" for the night. Whichever currency you believe, it was the most he had ever been paid to that point, for the worst performance of his prime.

It also established the template for the Riyadh Season era: no purse disclosure, a headline number leaked to British outlets, and the fighter confirming or inflating it afterward.

The Usyk Fights: Two Losses, Nine Figures

Fury lost his unbeaten record to Oleksandr Usyk by split decision on May 18, 2024 in Riyadh, and it was the best-paid loss in boxing history. The Independent and The Guardian reported a total purse around $150 million with a 70-30 split in Fury's favor, which comes out to roughly $105 million, or about £81 million. SportBible still cites £80 million as his take for that fight. British Boxing News carried a lower variant of $85 million out of $115 million.

The December 21, 2024 rematch, a unanimous decision loss with all three judges at 116-112, was reported at a combined $190 million to $191 million. The split was never confirmed. Some outlets suggested Usyk took 55 or 60 percent this time, which would put Fury somewhere between $76 million and $86 million. Usyk's promoter said publicly there was no fixed distribution to report. Fury announced his retirement again on January 13, 2025.

Netflix, Furocity, WWE and the Books

Fury's off-ring income is bigger than most heavyweights' but still small next to his purses. Forbes lists Netflix as his primary sponsor, and the relationship runs through "At Home with the Furys," which premiered on August 16, 2023, returned for a second season on April 12, 2026, and was renewed for a third in March 2026. SportBible reported in 2023 that he turned down a multi-million-pound offer for two more series before eventually coming back. A separate feature documentary from All3Media's Optomen is in production.

Furocity, his energy drink, launched in 2022 and sells through Iceland, The Food Warehouse, Amazon and Poundland; it was rebranded with five new flavours in August 2024. His WWE Crown Jewel match against Braun Strowman on October 31, 2019 in Saudi Arabia was reported by the Daily Mail at $15 million, a figure talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy called "in that ballpark." He has three books, including the Sunday Times bestseller "The Furious Method," and Paris Fury has two of her own. Forbes' 2025 profile also notes a tourism partnership with Malta.

Forbes and Sportico: Third in the World

The two Usyk fights landed in the same 12-month window, which is why Fury shows up near the top of both major earnings lists for 2024. Sportico's calendar-year 2024 ranking had him third among all athletes at $147 million, about $140 million from the ring and $7 million in endorsements, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo and Stephen Curry. Forbes' May 2025 list also had him third, at $146 million, split $140 million on the field and $6 million off it.

The year before, Forbes had him at roughly $50 million after fighting only once. He is absent from the Forbes 2026 top 10 because he spent most of the measurement period retired. The Joshua fight will put him back on the list next year.

The 2026 Comeback and the Joshua Fight

Fury ended his second retirement after about 16 months, shutting out Arslanbek Makhmudov (120-108, 120-108, 119-109) on April 11, 2026 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in front of 64,500 on Netflix. GB News reported a $25 million purse, roughly £18.6 million, and had a tax expert estimate about £8.35 million of it going to HMRC at the 45 percent rate. He followed it with a seventh round stoppage of Mariusz Wach in Thailand on July 25, 2026, a tune-up with no reported purse.

The fight that matters is Anthony Joshua on Friday, December 11, 2026 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, on Netflix, for the vacant WBA title, confirmed by Turki Alalshikh and Dana White on September 24 and 25 after a public spat over Wembley versus Madison Square Garden. SportBible reports a combined £200 million with £100 million each "widely reported," but no primary source has confirmed anything. Treat that as a placeholder until the fight happens.

Where the Estimate Lands

Stack the reported figures: roughly $65 million across the Wilder trilogy, $33 million for Whyte, $25 million to $35 million for Chisora, $50 million for Ngannou, $105 million for Usyk I, $80 million or so for Usyk II and $25 million for Makhmudov. That is about $385 million gross from eight fights, before the Klitschko era, the WWE fee, Netflix and endorsements. Celebrity Net Worth's "at least $250 million" in career earnings is conservative on that math.

Then subtract. UK top-rate tax on most of it, promoter and trainer percentages, camps in Saudi Arabia and the United States, and a lifestyle that includes a fleet of cars and, per Netflix and local reporting, a move from Morecambe to the Isle of Man in late 2025. A net worth of $150 million to $250 million is defensible. Celebrity Net Worth's $200 million sits in the middle of that band, and the Joshua purse, if it is anywhere near the reported £100 million, would push him toward the top of it by New Year's Day.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

Fury is the best-paid loser in boxing history and I mean that as a compliment to his business sense. He lost twice to Usyk and cleared close to $200 million on the reporting for the pair. He got dropped by Ngannou and made more than he did for Klitschko and all three Wilder fights combined. The man understands that the heavyweight title is a brand, and the brand survives the scorecards. The part I do not love is the retirement theater. Every announcement is a negotiating tactic, and the fans who bought the farewell narrative twice are the ones paying for the third act. Joshua in Cardiff will do numbers, and I expect Fury to win it, because Joshua's chin has not improved since Dubois. But do not confuse a Netflix payday with a legacy fight. This is two rich men settling a bar tab.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK.

How much did Tyson Fury make against Oleksandr Usyk?

No official figure exists because Saudi Arabia does not disclose purses. For the May 2024 fight, The Independent and The Guardian reported a $150 million pot split 70-30 in Fury's favor, about $105 million. For the December 2024 rematch the combined figure was reported at $190 million with the split unconfirmed; most estimates put Fury between $76 million and $86 million. Together the two losses were the biggest paydays of his career.

What is Tyson Fury's biggest purse?

On the reported numbers, the first Usyk fight in May 2024 at roughly $105 million. The largest official figure of his career is the $32,820,000 guarantee from the WBC purse bid for the Dillian Whyte fight in April 2022, which Frank Warren won with a record $41,025,000 offer. The commission-disclosed purses for the Wilder fights were only $3 million to $6 million, but those were base numbers before pay-per-view points.

How much is Tyson Fury getting paid to fight Anthony Joshua?

Nothing has been confirmed. SportBible reports a combined £200 million with £100 million each being widely quoted, but there is no primary source. The fight is on Friday, December 11, 2026 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Netflix, for the vacant WBA title. Given that Fury's April 2026 return against Arslanbek Makhmudov was reported at $25 million, a nine-figure number for Joshua is plausible but unverified.

Does Tyson Fury own any businesses?

His main ventures are Furocity, an energy drink launched in 2022 and sold through Iceland, Amazon and Poundland, and his television and publishing work. He is the subject of the Netflix series At Home with the Furys, renewed for a third season in March 2026, and has written three books including The Furious Method. Forbes lists Netflix as his primary sponsor and notes a tourism partnership with Malta. Endorsements were about $6 million to $7 million in 2024.

Is Tyson Fury the richest boxer in the world?

No. Canelo Alvarez was the only boxer in the Forbes 2026 top 10 at $170 million for the year, and Floyd Mayweather's career earnings dwarf everyone. Fury was third in the world on both the Forbes and Sportico lists for 2024 at about $146 million to $147 million, the best year any British boxer has had. Our 2026 net worth estimate of $150 million to $250 million puts him among the richest active fighters, not the richest.
