Dana White Bans Dillon Danis from All Future UFC Events
Dana White confirmed Dillon Danis is permanently banned from UFC events after a brawl at UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden.
Dillon Danis will not be showing up at any UFC events anytime soon. Dana White confirmed at the UFC 333 post-fight press conference that Danis is barred from all future UFC events, and he does not sound like a man who plans to change his mind.
"We don't need that aggravation here," White said when asked about Danis continuing to headline combat sports events outside the UFC. "What difference would it make to me?"
The ban stems from a brawl involving Danis and members of Khabib Nurmagomedov's team at UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden in November 2025, Sherdog reports. Security escorted Danis out of the arena after the altercation, which also involved Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Magomed Zaynukov.
Danis has stayed busy outside the UFC since the ban. He headlined Real American Freestyle 14 in Las Vegas on October 23, losing to Arman Tsarukyan by 10-0 technical fall in a wrestling match that was never competitive. White was asked about Danis getting headline opportunities in other promotions and made it clear he could not care less.
The ban is not surprising given Danis's track record. His UFC appearances have been marked by confrontations, and White has historically had little patience for fighters or personalities who create problems at live events. The MSG incident appears to have been the final straw.
Danis (2-0 in MMA, last fought in 2019) has built his career more on controversy than competition. Whether the ban matters to him is debatable, but it is now official: the UFC's doors are closed.
I am not going to pretend this is some great loss for the UFC. Danis has two MMA fights on his entire record, both from 2019, and his biggest contribution to combat sports has been getting into brawls he did not start and losing wrestling matches he should not have taken.
But banning him is the right call. The UFC runs events at major arenas with paying fans and broadcast partners. You cannot have a guy who starts a fight in the crowd at Madison Square Garden showing up at the next card like nothing happened. White has enough headaches without Danis adding to the list.
The funniest part of all this is Danis headlining RAF 14 like he is some kind of draw, then getting shut out 10-0 by Tsarukyan. That is the Dillon Danis experience in a nutshell: all mouth, no results. The UFC doors are closed, and I doubt anybody inside the building noticed.
