Alex Pereira's next opponent will be announced on a Kick livestream this Saturday, and Dana White is the one delivering the news.

The UFC CEO challenged fans to drop 25,000 comments on an Instagram video with content creator Nina-Marie Daniele, better known as Nina Drama. If they hit the number, White said he'd announce Pereira's next fight on her Kick stream during UFC 332 weekend. The post blew past the threshold, racking up more than 28,000 likes, per LowKick MMA.

Pereira has been teasing something for weeks. "It's coming. Good news, that's right, a big challenge," the Brazilian said.

The former two-division champion moved up to heavyweight earlier this year after vacating his light heavyweight title. His 265-pound debut didn't go as planned. Ciryl Gane stopped him by second-round TKO at UFC Freedom 250 in June. Despite the loss, Pereira has committed to staying at heavyweight with ambitions of becoming the first fighter to hold UFC titles in three weight classes.

No opponent has been named yet. Gane is currently booked to defend the heavyweight title against Josh Hokit at UFC 334. Saturday's announcement will reveal who Pereira faces on his next step back.

Dana White announcing a fight on a Kick stream is peak 2026 UFC. The promotion has gone full content creator mode, and honestly, it works. Nina Drama's audience skews exactly toward the demographic that buys pay-per-views. This is smart marketing disguised as a social media stunt.

The real question is who Pereira fights next. Gane already beat him and is booked for the title defense against Hokit. So this is either a top-five heavyweight looking to make a name or someone from outside the division. Either way, Pereira at heavyweight is must-watch television even after a loss.

I still think the three-division title chase is a longshot. Gane exposed some holes at 265. But Pereira has that one-punch power that makes anything possible, and the UFC is clearly invested in keeping him on the biggest stages. Saturday's announcement should tell us a lot about where this goes.
