Devin Haney's net worth in 2026 is an estimate, and ours lands between $15 million and $25 million. The reported guarantees alone include $2.8 million for the first Kambosos fight, $4 million for Lomachenko and a $600,000 weight penalty collected from Ryan Garcia, before the undisclosed Riyadh Season paydays for Jose Ramirez and Brian Norman Jr. that made him a three-division champion.

Haney is also one of the few stars in the sport who has gone to purse bids, run as a promotional free agent and kept his pay-per-view upside in his own hands. That has made him rich. It has also kept him out of the ring for most of 2026, while a $6.4 million mandatory against Keyshawn Davis fell apart and a Shakur Stevenson fight has been stuck on weight clauses since June.

Here is the money that has been reported on the record, and where the estimate lands when you add it up.

Kambosos in Melbourne: $2.8 Million to Become Undisputed

Haney took less money to get the biggest fight of his career. On June 5, 2022 (June 4 in the U.S.) he flew to Melbourne and beat George Kambosos Jr. by unanimous decision (116-112, 116-112, 118-110) in front of 41,129 fans at Marvel Stadium to become the first undisputed lightweight champion of the four-belt era.

Boardroom reported Haney's guarantee at $2.8 million against $10 million for Kambosos, with the pay-per-view split 70-30 in Kambosos' favor. Haney said in a March 2022 interview that he accepted the smaller number to secure the unification. It paid off: Kambosos activated the rematch clause, and Haney beat him again at Rod Laver Arena on October 16, 2022 (118-110, 118-110, 119-109). That second purse was not disclosed, but as the champion holding all four belts his leverage had flipped.

Lomachenko: $4 Million Guaranteed and a 150,000-Buy PPV

Haney's first headline pay-per-view in the United States came against Vasiliy Lomachenko at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 20, 2023. He won a unanimous decision (115-113, 116-112, 115-113) that the sold-out crowd of 14,436 booed, with judge Dave Moretti's card for round 10 drawing the most heat.

Dan Rafael reported Haney's guarantee at $4 million and Lomachenko's at $3 million. The pay-per-view did about 150,000 buys at $59.99, roughly $9 million in domestic television revenue, with a low seven-figure gate. Haney was also fined by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for shoving Lomachenko at the weigh-in.

After that fight Haney became a promotional and broadcast free agent, which is how he ended up on a Matchroom card on DAZN pay-per-view against Regis Prograis at the Chase Center in San Francisco, his birthplace, on December 9, 2023. He shut Prograis out 120-107 on all three cards to win the WBC junior welterweight title. His Prograis purse was not disclosed.

Ryan Garcia: Three Knockdowns, a No Contest and $600,000

The Garcia fight at Barclays Center on April 20, 2024 was the biggest event of Haney's career and the messiest. Garcia weighed 143.2 pounds, 3.2 over the limit, which made it a non-title fight. The two camps publicly kept a $500,000-per-pound penalty in place, but Rafael reported the actual deal was $600,000 from Garcia's purse to Haney, plus 2 percent of pay-per-view profit if buys cleared a set number.

Garcia dropped Haney three times and won a majority decision. Two months later, on June 20, 2024, the result was changed to a no contest after Garcia tested positive for ostarine. Garcia was fined $1.1 million and suspended for a year by the New York State Athletic Commission. Neither fighter's purse was disclosed, since New York does not publish them, and Haney's PPV share has never been reported. It was still, by every account, the richest night of his career.

Ramirez and Norman: Riyadh Season Money and a Third Belt

Haney came back on May 2, 2025 in Times Square, on the first U.S. card of Turki Alalshikh's Ring series, and beat Jose Ramirez by unanimous decision in a fight that angered fans for its lack of action. Then on November 22, 2025 at the ANB Arena in Riyadh, he dropped Brian Norman Jr. with a right hand in the second round and won the WBO welterweight title by unanimous decision (114-113, 117-110, 116-111). That made him a three-division champion at 33-0.

Neither purse was disclosed. Riyadh Season cards do not go through a state commission that publishes payouts, and Haney's team has not released numbers. What we know is that these were the two most lucrative platforms in boxing, and Haney was the A-side on both nights.

The $8.55 Million Purse Bid That Went Nowhere

Haney's 2026 has been a year of numbers without fights. Rolly Romero announced a May 30 bout at Barclays Center under a PBC pay-per-view banner in March, and by April 4 the talks had collapsed over money. Haney said the deal structure paid the fighters only after $6 million in event expenses and pointed out that Romero had never been paid a $2 million purse for a single fight.

The WBO then ordered Haney to defend against Keyshawn Davis. At the purse bid on July 30, 2026 in San Juan, Top Rank bid $8.55 million, beating Teofimo Lopez's Takeover Promotions at $2.35 million. Under the WBO's 75-25 split, Haney was due about $6.41 million and Davis about $2.14 million. Davis, who had reportedly turned down a $3 million Top Rank offer and wanted a $5 million net purse, declined the fight before the deadline. Haney kept his belt and lost a $6.4 million night.

That leaves Shakur Stevenson. The two agreed in principle on June 10, 2026 to a 144-pound catchweight. By October 4 Haney was posting "147.. no rehydration," and on October 6 he lowered the ask to 145 pounds with no rehydration clause for a December fight. As of mid-October nothing is signed.

Where the Estimate Lands

The reported guarantees add up to about $7.4 million (Kambosos I, Lomachenko, the Garcia penalty) before pay-per-view shares, and they cover only three of Haney's seven fights since 2022. The Kambosos rematch, Prograis, Garcia, Ramirez and Norman were all undisclosed, and at least three of those were headline pay-per-views or Riyadh Season main events where an A-side champion typically clears seven figures with upside.

A reasonable gross estimate for Haney's ring earnings since 2022 is $25 million to $40 million. He has run his own business with his father Bill Haney as manager rather than paying a traditional promoter a cut on every fight, which helps him keep more. After taxes, training camps and team costs, our net worth estimate is $15 million to $25 million. Third-party sites have published figures around $7 million, but those predate the Garcia, Ramirez and Norman paydays and should be treated as unverified estimates.

The number that matters next is the one for Stevenson. If that fight happens in December, it will be the biggest guaranteed check of his career, and the first time since 2023 that he has fought someone the public actually wants to see him fight.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

Haney is the smartest businessman in the welterweight division and the least entertaining fighter in it, and those two facts are related. He took $2.8 million to become undisputed, flipped that into $4 million for Lomachenko and a Garcia megafight, and now he sits on a WBO belt and a $6.4 million purse bid that Keyshawn Davis would not accept. The problem is the calendar. He has fought once in the last eleven months and spent October arguing about rehydration clauses on social media. I think Haney beats Stevenson if the fight is at 145, because the size matters more than people admit, but every month it does not get signed is a month Teofimo gets louder with the WBA belt. The $15 million to $25 million estimate is solid. The next check decides whether it doubles.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK.

How much did Devin Haney make for the Ryan Garcia fight?

Haney's purse for the April 20, 2024 fight at Barclays Center was never disclosed because New York does not publish purses. What is on record is that Garcia, after weighing in 3.2 pounds over the limit, agreed to pay Haney $600,000 from his own purse plus 2 percent of pay-per-view profit above a set threshold. The result was later changed to a no contest after Garcia's positive ostarine test.

How much did Devin Haney earn against Lomachenko?

Dan Rafael reported Haney was guaranteed $4 million for the May 20, 2023 fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, with Lomachenko guaranteed $3 million. The pay-per-view did about 150,000 buys, roughly $9 million in domestic revenue, and the sellout crowd of 14,436 produced a low seven-figure gate. Haney won a unanimous decision that was widely disputed.

Why did Devin Haney not fight Keyshawn Davis?

Top Rank won the WBO purse bid for Haney vs. Davis on July 30, 2026 at $8.55 million, which under the 75-25 mandatory split would have paid Haney about $6.41 million and Davis about $2.14 million. Davis had reportedly wanted a $5 million net purse and declined the fight before the acceptance deadline, so the mandatory was dropped and Haney kept the WBO welterweight title.

Is Devin Haney fighting Shakur Stevenson?

Not yet. Haney and Stevenson publicly agreed to a 144-pound catchweight on June 10, 2026, but the fight stalled over weight and rehydration terms. On October 6, 2026 Haney offered 145 pounds with no rehydration clause for a December date. Stevenson, who beat Teofimo Lopez in January, had not accepted as of mid-October, so nothing is signed.

Who promotes Devin Haney?

Haney has been a promotional free agent since beating Lomachenko in May 2023, with his father Bill Haney managing him. He has since fought on a Matchroom card on DAZN, a Barclays Center pay-per-view against Garcia, and two Turki Alalshikh Ring cards, which lets him negotiate each fight and keep more of the pay-per-view upside than a fighter locked to one promoter.
