Alex Pereira has his next fight locked in. The former UFC light heavyweight champion will face Sergei Pavlovich in the co-main event of UFC 335 on December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, per Sherdog.

Both fighters confirmed the matchup on social media after a promotional video surfaced. Pereira shared the clip with the caption "See you soon," while Pavlovich responded on Instagram: "Back in action soon."

Pereira (13-4) enters the bout looking to rebound from his second-round TKO loss to Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250 in June. That fight marked his heavyweight debut and ended in disappointing fashion for Poatan, who had been on a tear through the 205-pound division before moving up.

Pavlovich (21-3) arrives in far better form. The Russian knockout artist is riding a three-fight winning streak, most recently destroying Tallison Teixeira in 39 seconds at UFC Macau. It was his first stoppage win since April 2023, and he looked every bit the terrifying force that once had him on the doorstep of a heavyweight title shot.

The heavyweight clash adds serious firepower to an already stacked UFC 335 card in Vegas.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

I love this fight. Pereira moving to heavyweight was always going to be sink or swim, and he sank hard against Gane. Now they are giving him Pavlovich, a guy who will walk forward and throw absolute bombs. That is either going to be the most exciting three minutes in UFC history or a really bad night for someone.

Pavlovich on a three-fight streak with that 39-second KO is a terrifying version of the guy. But Pereira has that left hook that changes everything. He has been dropped before and come back to finish people. This fight probably does not see the scorecards, and I am perfectly fine with that.

If you are betting this, the line should be close to a pick'em. Both guys have knockout power that can end it on any exchange. Give me the under on rounds.
