Terence Crawford Net Worth 2026: Purses, Canelo Money and Real Estate

Terence Crawford's net worth is estimated at $60 million to $100 million in 2026, driven by a $66 million Canelo year and a debt-free Omaha real estate portfolio.

Terence Crawford's net worth in 2026 is best estimated at $60 million to $100 million. Sportico credited him with $66 million in earnings for 2025 alone, mostly from the Canelo Alvarez fight, and his career ring income tops $100 million on the reporting. Celebrity Net Worth's third-party estimate is $50 million, which is the floor of any sensible range.

The gap between Crawford's fame and his purses is the story here. For most of his career he was the best fighter in the world on a Top Rank pay scale, clearing $1.3 million to $6 million a night in Nevada-disclosed purses while lesser names cashed eight-figure checks. The Spence fight in 2023 and the Canelo fight in 2025 finally paid him like the pound-for-pound king, and he retired 42-0 in December 2025 a few months later.

Below is every significant reported purse, the pay-per-view and gate numbers behind them, the real estate empire in Omaha he talks about more than boxing, and where a grounded estimate lands as comeback rumors swirl.

The Top Rank Years: Nevada's Disclosed Purses

Crawford signed with Top Rank in 2011 and spent a decade there, which means most of his early purses came through the Nevada State Athletic Commission and were reported by Dan Rafael, then of ESPN. For the July 23, 2016 unification with Viktor Postol at the MGM Grand, Crawford's disclosed purse was $1.3 million to Postol's $675,000. For the June 9, 2018 win over Jeff Horn for the WBO welterweight title, the official Nevada figures were $1.75 million and $500,000, though Rafael reported Top Rank's contractual guarantees at $3 million and $1.75 million.

The numbers climbed slowly. Forbes reported a $5.5 million minimum guarantee for the April 20, 2019 stoppage of Amir Khan at Madison Square Garden, Khan's first ESPN pay-per-view. The November 14, 2020 stoppage of Kell Brook in the MGM bubble was reported around $4 million. His final Top Rank fight, the November 20, 2021 stoppage of Shawn Porter in Las Vegas, carried a reported $6 million guarantee with a 60-40 split of the PPV, per ESPN's Mike Coppinger.

Crawford left as a free agent after Porter, saying Bob Arum could not deliver the Errol Spence fight, and filed a lawsuit against Top Rank in January 2022 alleging breach of contract. The split cost him nothing at the box office and everything in patience.

Spence: The $10 Million Guarantee and 700,000 Buys

The fight that defined his career and his bank account was Errol Spence Jr. on July 29, 2023 at T-Mobile Arena. Crawford dropped Spence three times and stopped him in the ninth to become the first male fighter of the four-belt era to be undisputed in two divisions. Front Office Sports reported about 700,000 pay-per-view buys at $84.99 on Showtime, which works out to more than $59 million in PPV revenue, plus a gate above $20 million.

His purse is a media figure because Nevada no longer publishes them. Sportico reported both men were expected to make at least $10 million, and Sporting News described $10 million guaranteed plus undisclosed PPV bonuses. Forbes' Brian Mazique has cited a lower $6 million guarantee. Once the upside is counted, the range for Crawford's total is $10 million on the low end to roughly $25 million on the high end, which is what Sports Illustrated and Celebrity Net Worth use. That was the first time he had ever been paid eight figures.

Madrimov: The Riyadh Season Flop

Crawford's move to 154 pounds against Israil Madrimov on August 3, 2024 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles won him the WBA title in a fourth division and taught Riyadh Season a lesson about American pay-per-view. The California State Athletic Commission filing, reported by The Boxing Tribune, listed paid attendance of 17,799, a gate above $8.4 million and total fighter purses of $9.085 million across the card, without breaking out individual figures. Boxing News 24, citing Kevin Iole, reported that Riyadh Season lost about $10 million on the event and that the PPV was negligible.

A $10 million Crawford purse has been repeated for this fight, but no page we opened confirmed it, and the total purse line on the commission filing suggests it may be high. Whatever he made, it was the last fight where anyone questioned whether he was a draw.

Canelo: A $47 Million Gate and a $10 Million Purse

On September 13, 2025 at Allegiant Stadium, Crawford moved up two more divisions and outboxed Canelo Alvarez over 12 rounds (116-112, 115-113, 115-113) to become undisputed at super middleweight. MMA Junkie reported the Nevada gate at $47,231,887 from 70,482 fans, the third largest in boxing history, and Netflix announced 41.4 million global viewers.

The pay is where the numbers get strange. Crawford said on a podcast in May 2025 that his purse was $10 million, and Forbes, CBS Sports and MMA Mania all repeated that figure alongside Canelo's reported $100 million to $150 million, which Dana White said was "probably" at least nine figures. Nevada does not require disclosure, so there is no filing to check. Sportico's year-end accounting, published in January 2026, credited Crawford with $66 million for 2025, which strongly suggests the $10 million was a base with a large share of the back end on top. The $66 million figure is the most credible number for what the Canelo fight was actually worth to him.

Forbes and Sportico: Where He Ranks

Crawford had never appeared on a major highest-paid athletes list until the Canelo fight. Sportico's 2025 ranking placed him 21st among all athletes worldwide at $66 million, second among boxers behind Canelo at $137 million and ahead of Naoya Inoue at $62 million and Jake Paul at $60 million. Sportico did not publish a split between purse and endorsements for him.

He did not make the Forbes 2026 top 10, where Canelo was the only boxer at $170 million. That is consistent with a one-fight year and a modest endorsement portfolio.

Real Estate, the Gym and Endorsements

Crawford's off-ring money is in property, not products. He told GQ that real estate is the way for him because nobody is making more land, and reporting compiled by Hello! describes more than 40 houses, six apartment complexes and storefronts around Nebraska, plus a roughly $3 million home in West Omaha. WOWT reported his purchase of the former OIC site in North Omaha in November 2023. Celebrity Net Worth puts the portfolio at about 80 properties worth more than $20 million across Omaha, Kansas City and Colorado Springs, bought without mortgages. Wikipedia carries the same $20 million-plus figure.

The B&B Sports Academy at 31st and Sprague in North Omaha, which he founded with trainer Brian "BoMac" McIntyre, is a nonprofit that trains kids aged 8 to 18 and requires report cards; WOWT reported in September 2025 that it is looking to expand. His endorsement list, per Sporting News, includes Everlast, Experian, PRIME Hydration, SNAC System and CrownCoins Casino, with Wikipedia estimating brand income above $2 million a year. Compared with Canelo or Fury, it is a small line item.

Retirement and Comeback Talk

Terence Crawford explains why he retired from boxing

Crawford announced his retirement in a video on December 17, 2025 at 42-0 with 31 knockouts, a champion in five divisions and undisputed in three. He told The Ring in December that 38 is old in boxing, and in February 2026 that the 30-year toll on his body drove the decision, adding that he never fought for money. He was ringside in Egypt for Usyk vs. Verhoeven in May 2026 and told Boxing News 24 he was "happily retired."

That lasted until September. After an on-air exchange on DAZN, Crawford posted a public challenge to Jaron Ennis on September 10, 2026, asking if Ennis would fight him if he came out of retirement; Ennis answered "1000%." Eddie Hearn called it the biggest fight in boxing. Boxing News 24 reported that a purse in the neighborhood of $50 million would be needed to lure him back, and Boxing News, citing Mike Coppinger, reported on September 25 that a December fight with WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia is being considered. As of this writing nothing is signed.

Where the Estimate Lands

Add it up. Roughly $25 million to $30 million in reported purses across the Top Rank decade, $10 million to $25 million for Spence, a mid-seven-figure to $10 million night for Madrimov, and $66 million for the Canelo year per Sportico. That is $105 million to $130 million gross, which matches Dan Rafael's description of nine figures in ring earnings and Celebrity Net Worth's "more than $100 million in the ring."

Now subtract federal and Nebraska tax, BoMac's cut, camp and legal costs, and account for the fact that a large chunk of what is left is sitting in debt-free Omaha real estate worth $20 million or more. A net worth of $60 million to $100 million is the honest range. Celebrity Net Worth's $50 million is stale enough to predate the Sportico figure, and older Sports Illustrated and Sporting News estimates of $20 million to $30 million should be ignored. One more fight against Ennis or Garcia at the reported $50 million ask would push him to the top of the band.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

Crawford is the best fighter of his generation and, until 2025, the most underpaid. A $1.3 million purse to unify at 140. Six million to fight Porter when he was already the pound-for-pound number one. That is what happens when you are from Omaha instead of Guadalajara and you fight on a network that builds stars slower than it pays them. Then he beat Canelo in front of 70,000 people and the ledger finally caught up. What I respect is that he never spent like a man waiting on the next check. Eighty properties with no mortgages is a retirement plan, not a flex. On the comeback: I think he fights again, because $50 million against Garcia is easy work and Ennis is a legacy fight he can still win. Just do not tell me he needs the money.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK.

How much did Terence Crawford make for the Canelo fight?

Crawford himself said his purse was $10 million, and Forbes, CBS Sports and MMA Mania repeated that figure against a reported $100 million to $150 million for Canelo. Nevada no longer discloses purses, so there is no official record. Sportico's year-end accounting credited Crawford with $66 million for 2025, which indicates the $10 million was a base and his share of the Netflix and gate revenue added tens of millions more.

How much did Crawford make against Errol Spence?

Reports put his guarantee at $10 million for the July 2023 fight, with Forbes citing a lower $6 million figure. The event did about 700,000 pay-per-view buys at $84.99, more than $59 million in PPV revenue, and a gate above $20 million, and Crawford had upside on both. Estimates of his total take range from $10 million to about $25 million. It was his first eight-figure payday after more than a decade as a professional.

Is Terence Crawford retired?

He announced his retirement on December 17, 2025 at 42-0, citing the toll of 30 years in the sport. In September 2026 he publicly asked Jaron Ennis whether he would fight him if he returned, Ennis said yes, and Boxing News has reported that a December fight with Ryan Garcia is under consideration. Boxing News 24 reported a purse around $50 million would be needed to bring him back. Nothing has been signed.

What does Terence Crawford own?

Mostly real estate. He has described more than 40 houses, six apartment complexes and storefronts around Nebraska, and Celebrity Net Worth puts the total near 80 properties worth over $20 million in Omaha, Kansas City and Colorado Springs, bought without mortgages. He co-founded the nonprofit B&B Sports Academy gym in North Omaha with trainer Brian McIntyre. Endorsements include Everlast, Experian, PRIME Hydration and SNAC System.

Why was Crawford paid so little for most of his career?

Nevada-disclosed purses show $1.3 million for Postol in 2016 and $1.75 million for Horn in 2018 even though he was already a pound-for-pound fixture. He fought on Top Rank and ESPN cards that did not do big pay-per-view numbers, and the welterweight rivals who could have changed that, chiefly Errol Spence, were with a rival promoter. He left Top Rank after the Porter fight in 2021 and sued the company, and his purses rose sharply once he was a free agent.

Figures in this piece come from the sources above; purses, deals and net worth totals are estimates unless a commission or the fighter disclosed them. Spotted an error? Send a correction.
