Arman Tsarukyan is not done with the wrestling side project. After demolishing Dillon Danis by 10-0 technical fall in the main event of Real American Freestyle 14 in Las Vegas on October 23, the UFC lightweight contender wants a much bigger name next: Georges St-Pierre.

"Maybe they can bring in GSP. I'd like to wrestle him," Tsarukyan said, per Red Corner MMA.

Tsarukyan (24-3) said he wants to keep wrestling established MMA stars with big names, specifically targeting UFC fighters. He made it clear he is looking for "all the best fighters" and that the RAF platform is where he wants to do it.

St-Pierre (26-2) retired in February 2019 after one of the greatest careers in UFC history. His last fight was in November 2017, when he submitted Michael Bisping to win the middleweight title before vacating it and stepping away. GSP has stayed in shape and has dabbled in exhibition grappling, but he has not competed seriously since walking away nearly eight years ago.

The Danis bout was never competitive. Tsarukyan, one of the most decorated wrestlers in the UFC lightweight division, shut Danis out completely in a match that served more as a showcase for his grappling than a genuine contest. Now he wants a name that would actually sell the event.

Whether St-Pierre would accept is another question. GSP has been selective about any return to competition, and a wrestling match against a prime UFC contender carries real risk for his legacy. But the callout alone tells you where Tsarukyan's confidence is right now.

I love this callout. Tsarukyan just ragdolled Danis, and instead of taking a victory lap, he is looking for the biggest name he can find. GSP vs. Tsarukyan on a wrestling mat would be fascinating. Two different eras, two completely different grappling styles, and enough name value to make RAF a real player in the combat sports calendar.

Will GSP do it? Probably not. He has nothing to gain and everything to lose. Tsarukyan is a younger, active fighter who would be the favorite on the mat. But GSP has surprised us before, and he does not seem like a guy who is afraid of a challenge.

The bigger picture here is Tsarukyan building his brand outside the Octagon while he waits for his lightweight title shot. Smart move. The more eyes on him, the harder he is for the UFC to ignore when it is time to book Islam Makhachev's next defense at 155.
