Tyson Fury has revealed exactly how his long-running US visa issues got resolved: Dana White picked up the phone and called Donald Trump.

"Listen, it all got done through Dana on Donald Trump's table," Fury told reporters, per Boxing News 24. "And Donald Trump just went bang: 'Tyson's a great guy. Come on in.'"

Fury had been barred from entering the United States for years due to an unspecified visa issue. The ban kept him from training stateside and competing in American markets, a significant limitation for a fighter of his stature.

The resolution came through White's well-documented relationship with the former and current president. Once Trump gave the green light, Fury's access was restored.

The immediate payoff: Fury is now training at SugarHill Steward's facility in Delray Beach, Florida, ahead of his December 11 fight against Anthony Joshua at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Beyond the Joshua bout, a potential third fight against Oleksandr Usyk at Madison Square Garden in 2027 has been discussed but remains unsigned.

For Fury, the visa fix opens the door to finishing his career with American appearances that were previously impossible.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

This is one of those stories that reminds you how connected Dana White really is. The man can't be bothered to show up to the Fury vs. Joshua press conference, but he can get a phone call to the President of the United States to fix a visa problem. That's a different kind of power.

Fury training in Florida with SugarHill Steward is significant. That camp produced the version of Fury that dethroned Deontay Wilder. If Fury shows up to Cardiff with that same preparation, Joshua has a real problem on his hands.

The Usyk trilogy at MSG in 2027 is the carrot dangling at the end of all this. Fury needs to beat Joshua first, and having full access to American training camps and facilities makes that path a lot smoother. White may have just done more for Fury's career with one phone call than most promoters do in a lifetime.
