Misfits Boxing Miami Goes Off the Rails With Ferguson Threats and a Cheeseburger KO
Tony Ferguson threatened his replacement opponent and an influencer got dropped by a cheeseburger at the Misfits Boxing Miami weigh-ins.
The Misfits Boxing Miami weigh-ins on Friday delivered exactly the kind of chaos you would expect from a card featuring former UFC fighters in the influencer boxing world.
Tony Ferguson, defending his Misfits middleweight title, got heated with late replacement Mahmoud Sebie after Sebie touched his face during the faceoff. Ferguson, 42, did not appreciate the gesture.
"He touched my face. You touched my face. The last person that touched my face was my mom. I'm gonna touch you," Ferguson said, per LowKick MMA.
Sebie took the fight on just four days' notice after original opponent Kenzo Biyong withdrew due to travel issues. Ferguson won the Misfits middleweight belt via unanimous decision over Warren Spencer in December 2025.
But Ferguson's confrontation wasn't even the wildest moment of the afternoon. Heavyweight undercard fighter Edris Enofe brought fast food to the stage during his faceoff with Bobby Smith, appearing to offer a peace gesture. When Smith accepted, Enofe used his own cheeseburger as a weapon and smacked Smith across the face with it, per MMA Mania. Smith went down, security rushed in, and the burger scattered across the stage.
Ferguson also ripped the Misfits roster for creating unnecessary drama, saying fighters were causing problems for views and that his children had to leave because of the unprofessional behavior.
The card, headlined by former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo, airs Saturday on DAZN from Miami.
I watched that cheeseburger clip three times and I still can't believe it actually happened. Edris Enofe knocked a grown man down with a McDonald's double cheeseburger. In 2026. On camera. This is where we are.
But honestly, the Ferguson stuff is more interesting to me. El Cucuy is 42 years old, defending an influencer boxing belt against a guy who took the fight on four days' notice, and he's still the most intense person in the building. That quote about his mom being the last person to touch his face is peak Tony Ferguson. You can take the man out of the UFC, but you cannot take the crazy out of the man.
The whole event is a circus, and Ferguson knows it. He's out there complaining about the unprofessional behavior while also threatening to "touch" his opponent. Classic.
