Dana White Dares Eddie Hearn to Sue as Fury vs Joshua Promotion War Heats Up
Dana White says he is promoting and producing the Fury vs Joshua fight, dares Hearn to sue, while Hearn admits the feud is boosting his US profile.

The Dana White and Eddie Hearn war over Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua keeps escalating, and both men seem happy to keep pouring fuel on it.
White doubled down at a Contender Series press conference on Tuesday, claiming he is directly involved in producing and promoting the December 11 fight in Cardiff. "I'm producing the fight, I'm promoting the fight," White told media, per Sherdog. When asked about Hearn's insistence that contractual restrictions prevent White from involvement without approval, White shrugged it off. "Sounds like he's got an incredible lawsuit," White said, essentially daring Hearn to take him to court.
White also ripped the media for constantly asking about Hearn rather than the fight itself. "Who gives a sh*t about me and Eddie Hearn other than you guys," he said. "A.J. and Fury is the fight." He dismissed comparisons between himself and the Matchroom boss: "Eddie and I are not the same. We're not even close."
Meanwhile, Hearn appeared on the Ariel Helwani show and took a different angle, openly admitting the feud is working in his favor. "My profile in America is nowhere near where it is in the UK, and that's starting to change a lot because of the battle with Dana," Hearn said, per Boxing News 24. "Every time he speaks, he's talking about me." Hearn described the exchanges as "fun" and framed the whole thing as "the first of many" battles in the promotion process.
The Fury vs. Joshua fight is scheduled for December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Who is actually promoting it depends entirely on which man you ask.
I love this. Not because I think either of these guys is right, but because neither of them can help themselves. White is out here producing fights, going to production meetings, planning to fly his whole crew to Cardiff, and daring the other promoter to sue him. Hearn is on Ariel's show admitting, out loud, that he is using the beef to build his brand in the States. Neither one is pretending anymore.
Here is what I think: White is going to show up in Cardiff and do whatever he wants. Hearn is going to complain about it on every podcast that will have him. And the fight is going to do massive numbers because both of them are turning the promotion into a sideshow that people cannot look away from. It is the best free marketing in boxing right now.
The actual question nobody is answering: who is paying the production costs and who keeps the revenue? That is where lawyers get involved, not Twitter.
