Jacobe Smith has unfinished business with Kevin Holland, and he is not being polite about it. The undefeated welterweight prospect moved to 13-0 by demolishing late-notice replacement Bruce Whitehead in just 92 seconds at UFC 332 last Saturday inside Delta Center in Salt Lake City. It was his fourth UFC win in four appearances, all by finish.

Smith was originally booked to face Holland in July, but Holland withdrew with an injury and the fight was postponed. The UFC rebooked the bout for UFC 332, and Holland pulled out again. Whitehead stepped in on short notice.

"I want to kill him. I want to murder him," Smith said of Holland after the win, per MMA Sucka. "He put me through two fight camps." Smith said he had put other parts of his life on hold for the Holland fight and was frustrated that Holland accepted the bout twice and failed to show up both times.

Smith also questioned Holland's timeline. "Your foot's still hurt, but you're accepting fights with other dudes," he said, referencing Holland's upcoming bout against Uros Medic at UFC 334 next month.

The message was clear: if Holland wins that fight, Smith is coming for him. "You better hope Uros Medic gets your ass out of there, because if you win, I'm coming for you," Smith said.

At 30 years old and riding a 13-fight unbeaten streak with all finishes, Smith is one of the most dangerous young welterweights on the UFC roster. He needs a step up in competition, and the Holland fight would give him exactly that.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

I love this energy from Jacobe Smith. The guy is 13-0 with nothing but finishes and he has every right to be angry. Kevin Holland pulled out of their fight twice. Twice. And now Holland is booked against Uros Medic like nothing happened? That would make anyone see red.

Smith is a problem at 170 pounds. Four UFC fights, four finishes, 92 seconds for the latest one. The welterweight division is stacked, but this kid is cutting through everyone they put in front of him. Holland would be the perfect measuring stick. Name recognition, experience, dangerous everywhere. That is the fight to make.

If Holland beats Medic next month, the UFC has no excuse not to rebook Smith vs. Holland. Third time is the charm, and I have a feeling Smith makes it ugly if they finally share the cage.
