BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing has added fuel to speculation about Ryan Garcia's next move after its leadership met with the polarizing welterweight star.

BKB CEO David Tetreault posted a photo with Garcia on Instagram alongside the caption: "Ryan Garcia & BKB. BKB leadership linked up with @kingryan for a conversation about boxing, the fight game, and what the future could hold."

No fight, signing, or commercial deal has been formally announced. The vague wording leaves multiple possibilities on the table, from a bare knuckle fight appearance to a content partnership or media collaboration. BKB has been expanding its presence on TikTok, and Garcia is one of boxing's biggest social media draws.

There is history between the two sides. Tetreault previously served as chief business officer at Golden Boy Promotions, where he worked on projects involving Garcia during the fighter's rise. That prior relationship may have driven the meeting rather than any immediate competitive plans, per LowKick MMA.

Garcia remains one of the most recognizable names in boxing, but his career has taken unpredictable turns. The meeting with a bare knuckle promotion, regardless of what comes from it, signals that Garcia is at least entertaining options outside the traditional boxing lanes.

Whether this amounts to anything beyond a photo op remains to be seen. But Garcia meeting with bare knuckle leadership is the kind of headline that keeps fans guessing and promoters nervous.

REY'S TAKERey Aguirre

Look, I will believe Ryan Garcia is fighting bare knuckle when I see him standing in the ring without gloves. Until then, this is Ryan being Ryan. The guy knows how to generate headlines, and a photo with a bare knuckle CEO does exactly that.

But here is the thing. Tetreault is not some random promoter. He was at Golden Boy, he knows Garcia's camp, and BKB is actively trying to grow. If there is a deal that makes financial sense for both sides, Garcia is unpredictable enough to take it.

The bare knuckle world would love to have him. Garcia brings millions of eyeballs, and that is worth more than any fighter on their roster right now. From Garcia's side, it is a gamble. Those hands are his livelihood, and bare knuckle does damage that gloves prevent. I think this ends up being a media play, not a fight. But with Garcia, you never rule anything out.
